Perfect Starter Violin for My 5th Grader — Great Sound and Incredible Value
We bought this violin for my 5th-grade daughter instead of renting one for a ridiculous monthly fee, and I’m so glad we did. This set is amazing for the price — it came with everything she needed to start lessons right away. The violin has a warm, pleasant tone, and the included case, tuner, and rosin were all great quality for a beginner kit. The fingerboard stickers made it much easier for her to learn proper finger placement. The bridge needed a tiny adjustment out of the box, but that’s completely normal with new violins. Overall: A perfect starter violin for students — affordable, beautiful, and ready to play. It’s saving us a ton on rental fees and has my daughter excited to practice every day.

Decent for price came with all essential equipment for a noob
I recently purchased this Phoenix violin, and after spending a week with it, I have a solid opinion on its performance, value, and overall quality. For 100 bucks, this violin is pretty solid. It comes with essential accessories like a bow, rosin, a tuner, and a case. While I'd say its plays quite well for the price point The fingerboard is smooth, the action is not too high, but the strings are a little thin. The included bow is decent, though upgrading to a better bow could enhance the playing experience further. this violin is easy to handle and lightweight. The setup out of the box may require some minor adjustments, but once properly tuned and rosin applied to the bow, its pretty beginners friendly Although the factory tune came a slight bit off, it wasn't too hard to retune it myself since the tuner came with a battery.

Value violin for the win
It's no Stradivari, but a whole violin kit for under $100, that value price can't be beat, but there are some flaws to be expected. It doesn't stay tuned for very long and I'm certain I could rig it up in a particular way to fix the problem since it's the pegs and the peg holes that just move a bit too freely, but overall, it plays, is the right size, and comes with everything needed to start playing. I'm sure it doesn't sound the absolute best, but it doesn't sound bad either, and I thinl this should be a perfectle fine first violin for anyone who can't afford the higher entry point price of most recommended violins, but still wants to get to experience playing a violin and doesn't mind having to re-tune every time. It's I've functional and for a whole violin kit under $100 that's saying a lot. I've also also seen other reviews suggesting to replace the strings that came with it, and I think they're correct and that it would make a noticeable difference, but I'm waiting until the strings actually bust to replace them cuz I'm cheap I guess, and I can still practice finger placement and dexterity with the janky strings lol

Excellent Beginner Violin Kit - Great Sound & Complete Setup
I gave the PHOENIX Violin 4/4 Full Size Kit five stars because it's a fantastic starter set for adult beginners. The rosewood bow feels balanced and produces a warm tone right out of the box. The violin itself is well-crafted, with a clear, resonant sound that improves with practice. The kit includes everything you need: violin, bow, case, rosin, and shoulder rest, making it easy to start playing right away. I recommend tuning the instrument carefully and using the provided rosin sparingly for the best sound quality. Overall, it's a solid investment for anyone stepping into violin lessons.

Do not buy
I knew this was a cheap buy but I had no idea just how bad it could be. The bow was absolutely in awful shape including many hairs already frayed. The strings are even worse. While tuning (note that they promise it comes pre-tuned, the string snapped at the smallest of turns and thankfully I was wearing glasses as it snapped straight towards my eye. The tuning monitor is also wildly inaccurate I know it seems like a good deal but I would never trust this product with a child and I am confused as to how the reviews up to this point are so good.

Amazing case! Withstood the falling of a giant!
I can't speak to the violin inside but the case itself is amazing! My big 285 pound self fell on it, destroying the box it came it. But the violin case? It protected the violin perfectly. The violin still looks pretty! Not a scratch or break. Great quality case! 5 stars!

A great value violin set for beginners
This PHOENIX 4/4 full-size violin really exceeded my expectations! It has a beautiful appearance, clear wood texture, smooth paint, and feels very textured in the hand. The accessories are very complete, including rosin, tuners, shoulder rests, spare strings, fingerboard stickers, etc. You can start practicing directly after getting it, which is very suitable for beginners like me. 🎶 Tone: After tuning, the sound is clear and bright, and the treble part performs well, which is enough for entry-level practice. 🎻 User experience: The shoulder rest fits well, you won’t feel tired when playing the violin, and the tuner is also very accurate, so novices can get started quickly. In general, this is a violin with super cost-effectiveness, suitable for entry-level learning or interest cultivation, and recommended to all friends who want to learn violin! 👍

This Violin Fiddle Set supposed to come, according to the ad, with a clip-on tuner, 2 rosins, a strap and an extra bridge. Non of that was included!! Also the ad says that the bow is painted with rosin and the strings are already tuned and non of that is true! I will be returning this since the ad is false.
