Great Replacement Pump
Had to replace a lighted water fountain pump and didn't realize it could be so tricky. Had to have all the units connected. This light and pump were PERFECT. Took some wrangling, but got it into the base of the fountain and squeezed the light through the designated area. My only hassle was figuring out how high to move the fountain pressure to push the water to the top of my fountain (18") at least. Finally decided to leave it on full blast as to that was the only pressure that moved the water that high up the fountain. All around, it's a good water pump. I'm a bit of a water fountain snob, so I know what I'm talking about. Key Overview: The light and pump work off same unit. It's all attached. Like that.

FAIL - *UPDATE*
The pump arrived on time and NIB with instructions and without any problems. My original pump went out after around 10 years of use. I was quite worried of not being able to find another pump that fits this particular fountain, but this was exactly what I needed to get my fountain up and running again! I am so happy! I was a little disappointed at the price being a bit expensive, but no other pump would have worked. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. Anyhow, I am thrilled with it! :)EDIT: Had this pump for not even 2 weeks and the light burned out! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!'EDIT #2 The light went out at first with no way to replace the bulb, but the pump still worked....until last week. It was making an ungodly loud noise and the pump quit working. (I did not run the pump dry)I am going to try my luck and order another one because I can't find a pump like this anywhere else. I am so upset! The company was nice enough to refund my money, but I'd rather have a working pump with the light.UPDATE: I ended up purchasing another pump and so far, so good. I am extremely impressed at this company's professionalism and willingness to solve the issue with the pump. They stand behind their products! Definitely recommend this company! And a huge thank you to them!

Already not working 100%
Update 4/25 so I took the waterfall apart and put the new one in and everything was fine for about 2 weeks. I'm already updating again because once again the light burnt out. This item cannot even last a month in a fountain, total waste of money. Pass this manufacturer by.I bought this pump to replace the one I had in my waterfall. The original pump I've had for years and years and years but it finally crapped out. I've had this one in there less than 30 days and the light is already burnt out. Of course if I want to return it and get another one I have to take the fountain apart yet again and put another one in and hope that one works. Just ridiculous.

Perfect pump! But light went out-
Pump works pretty good! I baught this after i had accidentally broken my previous pump by busting the bulb. However, the bulb went out on this one rather quickly for me. (Id say about a month or two) I didnt really care for the light that much, i just needed the pump really. so it's no big deal personally, but if you're planning on running the pump all the time, it may not stay lit.

Does the job!! REVISED: Dead after 6 weeks BUT was sent a new one!!
REVISED #2: Emailed Sunnydaze and was sent a new unit (transformer, pump, finger light) in two days. As I figured, the transformer was bad. Plugged the new one onto the old pump. Works. Great customer service.REVISED: The unit stopped working after six weeks. Pump never went dry, so I don't know why it failed. I cannot recommend this pump. Our wall fountain pump burned out (my fault: the fountain ran dry) so I ordered this pump light combo (I already had a dozen or so replacement "bee" lights so I wanted a new unit that took this bulb). Installation took, oh, maybe five minutes: drop pump and light in fountain well, thread power cord (12 volts) through hole in fountain and connect to transformer, plug it in. That's it. I mentioned the bulb. These do burn out eventually but they're pretty cheap. I probably had to replace it maybe two times a year for the past three years with my old pump/light kit. (Again, a five minute job.)I want to mention that I ordered it on Tuesday and it was delivered Wednesday even though I didn't ask for one-day delivery. I'm pretty happy with this gadget.

Works Well But No Power Switch
The media could not be loaded. The old pump / lamp combo in our indoor water fountain failed after many years of service. The Sunnydaze unit looks well made and was easy to install. The pump is quite powerful and the attached video shows it operating at less than half power. The old one had an inline on/off switch which was very convenient, but alas... no on/off switch on the Sunnydaze. If it had one, I would have given it five stars. My choices now are to unplug the unit, install an inline switch, or attach it to a switched power bus.
