Ohms measured 0.5 ohms, 12 V/0.5 ohm=24 amps, 24x12=288 watts. This will give a decent amount of heat to keep water from freezing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best solution there is for Rv off grid camping *by S***I on April 2, 2019* Would give it 10 stars if i could.I was heating my water heater in my RV with gas was getting to expensive here at $3.60 a gallon. After doing some simple math the figures came out to 6 gallons of hot water every 2 hours in a perfect environment meaning no heat losses threw insulation.
