Watch out for old/new threads not quite matching up
Unfortunately the thread on the new siphon didnt quite match the existing piece. Very easy to take off the damaged siphon and slot the new one in. But, after 20 plus years the old and new weren't quite compatible such that, when flushing, the new siphon would partially lift off so a successful flush....not. In the end, took the diaphragm out of the new piece, slotted it into the old siphon, dropped it in/tightened up the thread....works lovely.
