Nicely Made, But too Hot For Me!
I got this apron for my husband who loves to cook and in particular grill. He's a smidge rounder in the middle, but this apron fit him just fine and he doesn’t like them tight but it was on the smaller side overall. But to be honest he didn’t like the “criss cross through the hole and tie round the back” design of it and so he won’t wear it. The apron itself is fairly well made and the fabric is a medium weight cavas type. It has close weave straps that are well sewn on the top of the bib through metal rings which then cross over and pass through two more metal rings at the waist, oh and a bottle opener on a ring on the waistband. But the main problem we both had with it was living here in the South makes it almost impossible to wear in the summer as it makes you so hot! I actually wore it to cut his hair as i’ve been looking for a new apron for that, but even in the air conditioning I was on fire wearing this apron down here in South Mississippi. I will recommend it though, as it’s a nice apron and obviously everyone reading these reviews won’t be living in hotter climates.

Quality apron
Well made apron. The fabric is fairly thick and great for cooling and grilling. Haven't tried washing it yet. Love that it can be fit many shapes and sizes of people.

Too small for larger people
I ordered this apron to use for cooking and other kitchen chores to keep my clothes clean. The material of the apron is a medium weight material which should last a long time. But the straps are way too short if you are a large person to cross them over in the back so the apron will stay on. If you don't cross the straps in the back the straps fall off your shoulders very easily. The brass colored gromets are a nice touch and look great. The bottle opener is not very functional, and I removed it right away. I like the shallow pockets; it makes it very easy to grab a thermometer or other tools. I would love this apron if the straps were longer and sewn together to stay crossed in the back.

Material muy malo
The media could not be loaded. Se arruga mucho y cuando se plancha se blanquea , le pongo 1 estrella por los tirantes que son buenos

Decent Apron
I got this apron for my dad who loves to cook...and eat. He's a bit bigger around the middle, but this apron fits him just fine. It's adjustable enough that it can work for my mom as well, who is definitely not as rotund. The bottle opener works ok, and is a cool little gimmick. The apron is well made, but I think that the fabric used is of medium thickness. It's not as thick as my Williams Sonoma canvas apron I have. It will keep your clothes clean from small splatters.

Just for show
This apron falls into the category of "bro" stuff, designed to appeal to masculine sensibilities, but not really all that functional or good. The thickness and weight of the canvas material seems pretty good. It's certainly thicker and a little more weighty than thin light aprons that we have inside the kitchen. However, it's all canvas, not Polly, so it's not really water resistant. I can also tell that this thing will shrink after it's first wash. The straps are made of durable material, and the brass grommets seem strong and durable and look really nice. I appreciate the shape of the pockets, they make it a little easier to reach in from the sides, but this also means that they're a little shallow and not too deep. I'm fine with the length of the apron. Unfortunately, what makes this bad for me is the design of the straps, how they connect, and their length. The photos in the website show the straps crossing each other in the upper back behind the neck, so I thought that they were sewn together that way. They're not. The straps are only connected at one point at the top of the apron. They are not connected to each other and they're not connected to the sides of the apron. This means that the straps pull out of the lower grommets quite easily, so you can't use the straps to hang this apron up when not in use. If you string up the straps straight down, rather than across the upper back, the straps slide off of my shoulders too easily. When I'm reaching forward or hunched over working over the grill or the sink. Since the straps fall out of the lower grommets too easily, every time that I put the apron on or off, I really have to fiddle with routing the straps properly. It's just too much of a pain in the neck to use. Also, the straps are not long enough to wrap around the front and tie. Not as flexible as I once was, and trying to reach around the back to tie. The short straps was a bit cumbersome. The combination of whistle bottle opener was a little gimmick that I immediately removed, because I don't need it banging around making jangling noises. Plus, there's not a lot of slack in the loop that holds it to the apron, so using it to open bottles is a little awkward; you have to get that bottle really close to you to open it. And because it's connected with the split ring, it's not easy to remove and reattach it quickly, unless you added something like a caribener. I wanted to like this, but it's just not a good apron. If the straps were longer, then I might try to fix this by adding a loop to one of the straps, so that the other straps could go through that loop, or I would sew them together to cross behind the neck in the upper back.

Thick Canvas, Versatile Fit, & Handy Pockets
I don't like nor use the bottle opener / whistle. Feels like a weird gimmick. So I removed that, which is easy to do because it's just on a key ring. But, that doesn't mean I don't like the product.I love the thick canvas. I feel completely protected from grease and grime in it.I also love the system of straps. It's easy and intuitive, and allows for a very versatile fit. I'm 6'2" and it fits me great, and seems like it would fit a much larger man too. My wife is 5'7" and it fits her great too. If you like an apron that rides higher or lower, it's easy to adjust it to that preference (where any with fixed loops at the top or only partially adjustable loops aren't as convenient).I also love the pockets. They are useful, not too deep that you can't retrieve things that slip in there, and feel pretty firm (obviously if you bend forward enough, things can slip out of them). The only small negative I have is that the straps make washing the apron a little tricky. They can get tangled around other items of laundry or even around the center of the washing machine. I recommend putting them together, looping them back and forth a few times, and trying the ends around it to make a little bundle before you throw it in the wash. It isn't very tedious to do, and it's easier than if the straps get tangled in something (especially a more delicate blouse or something)
