Great product, easy to fit. Replaced and old broken one. Very happy
Arrived yesterday, fitted today, really does the job, offers some resistance when opening into the wind, the 90 degree stop works really well. It was a direct replacement for what looks like an inferior stay. Simple and directly replaced the rubbish one that had broken as made with too much plastic. Did not have to drill any new holes. Excellent.

Seems good value and functional
Very easy to fit following the instructions in the listing description pictures. Seems up to the job - time will tell if it holds open when its windy. These things don't last forever - so keep it lubed to help it operate and avoid corrosion.

Decent door stay
Replacement for the OEM fitted door stay. Great quality. Fits nicely, and easily adjusted with the screw on top. Can be a bit noisy if not oiled fairly regularly but I run it fairly tight to stop the door in the wind. Overall great value and does exactly what it needs to.

Good stop but frame screws too long!
Well the actual bar is a good quality much better than others I have bought on Amazon however the provided screws are too long for the bracket that attaches to the frame of the door which ends up knackering the frame so use shorter screws on the frame holes and the ones provided for the actual door (4). I would have assumed a trade supplier would have got this right!! However ASSUME anything just makes an ass out of u & me!

UPVC door restrictor
Does just what it says. Locks open at 90 degrees with a definite click. Slight friction in the mechanism slows the door down if caught by a gust of wind. Very easy to fit

Perfect for controlling patio doors in the wind
Really useful piece of kit to stop the patio doors from blowing in the wind. I agree with other reviewers that there are no fitting instructions provided with the units, so you will have to refer to the video clip on Amazon to understand how to fit them. Fitting is very easy, once you have established the distance from the door frame and use a square to obtain a 'true' 90 degree angle for the open door stop point. Then use the grub screw to set any resistance you want when opening/closing the door (none or plenty).
