**Q: is this cement?**
A: It does contain cement, 1-5% according to the data sheet but if you are asking can a cement mortar be used as an alternative I’d say no.
I used it for the first time a couple of months ago over a layer of ply. It can and should be applied very thinly, is flexible and feathers out beautifully. This wouldn’t be possible with any ordinary cement mix in my view. I tackled laying Karndean with great trepidation but it wasn’t as difficult as the professionals predicted. Hope this helps.

**Q: I am installing amtico spatia glue down planks. Can I apply adhesive on top of it?**
A: I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to, I have put karndean flooring down successfully onto flooring ply that had the joints and low spots skimmed prior to sticking down the flooring using karndean pressure sensitive adhesive.I can't see how Amtico adhesive would be any different.

**Q: How long to dry**
A: It takes about 15 minutes to dry but that does depend on ambient temperature and how thick it is. Though I will add it's a really good product and I use it all the time. Very useful.
