Wasabi Power Battery for Sony NP-FZ100 and Sony FX3, a1, a9, a9 II, a7R III, a7R IV, a7S III, a7 III, a7 IV, a6600

Not really sure what to say here. It's a cheaper version of the Sony FZ100 and it works just fine on the camera. Lasts a good amount of time. 350 shots include a bunch of messing around in the menus and also playback of photos. No issues yet.

I’m giving this product 5 stars based on the responsiveness of Blue Nook/Wasabi customer service. I had several of these batteries for my A9/A7iii and after the newer FW updates, started getting error messages regarding compatibility. A quick email to the company, then sending them a copy of my receipt and the code on the batteries I had problems with, and they had new ones in the mail to me and a text my door within a few days. The new batteries work great, and their customer service definitely gets 5 stars for quick and easy replacement.

Works great, but after the A7iii ver 2.0 firmware update there is a message in the camera that says the "Operation and safety of this battery cannot be guaranteed. Continue use?" and then you can press OK. Battery still works, but you lose the percentage of charge on the battery display on the screen. To get it back for a few seconds, you can turn off the camera and turn it back on again, but the percentage will disappear again

Perfect fit at a reasonable price for a Sony mirror-less camera.

Original: Great battery; takes a bit longer to charge and discharges faster than OEM but at a decent rate. Recommend as a backup battery or for less serious occasions. Work well on my A7III and a7ivUPDATE (2019): Sony's 2.00 FW caused a screen notification saying these Wasabi batteries aren't genuine (BTR-FZ100-WP). It wasn't enjoyable. So I emailed Blue Nook (aka Wasabi batteries) and told them if they had an updated battery (BTR-FZ100-WP02), and they kindly sent me a NEW updated one!UPDATE-2 (7/2022): The replacement BTR-FZ100-WP02 battery started OK, but after FW 4.00, I started getting a warning message stating to verify the battery to continue. So I bought a new one, and I can confirm newer batteries eliminate the warning message. So no message on my A7III or A7iv. I guess it is one of those firmware vs. firmware situations.

I've used Wasabi batteries on a broad range of devices with great results. Quality, Savings and Support if needed.

I have used Wasabi batteries and chargers for several years. I can't tell a difference in battery life. I have read several formal studies showing the Wasabi batteries are only a very slight bit less powerful than the OEM.

I bought this battery as a last minute backup for my A7Riii to take on a trip. Previously I have had great experiences with wasabi but when I needed to switch batteries and threw in the wasabi, the camera turned on briefly then said that the battery was the incorrect type and turned it's self off. I really wish that I had just bought the oem for this trip. I will be returning this battery. Total fail.
