Good But Could Be Better
I needed this unit for cutting out paper only, but when I purchased it, I thought it would come with extra blades. I was willing to buy the blades, but I could not find them on Amazon. Or the vendor didn't offer them via Amazon. Too bad, I had to return the unit unopened.

What you should know.
It was smaller and flimsier than anticipated. I am using it for card making.

No directions
I did not like that the instructions on the pkg are inChinese. The measurements are also off. the one inch circle is too big for my 1 inch cabachon jewelry.

Blade can only be oriented one direction; dulled quickly
I craft with paper pretty often, and was intrigued by the idea of having a tool that would let me easily cut circles, so I decided to request this paper cutter to try out.The tool is pretty simple overall; it’s made mostly of plastic except of course for the blade. There is a small cap that fits over the blade to keep it safe in storage, though I’ll note it is very small so you’ll need to be careful to put it in a spot where it won’t roll off and disappear. The ruler on the top has both inches and centimeters. You slide the handle the blade is mounted on to your desired size and then you turn the knob on the handle to lock it into place. I noticed while working with it that the handle shows a little arrow marker in the center so you can set it to your desired size (there are arrows on both sides so you can mark out either inches or centimeters). At first I was confused to see that the blade was not aligned to that center marker since visually it gave the impression that it was making a smaller circle than I wanted, but when I measured my cut circle it had a 4” diameter as expected. Evidently the offset accounts for other features on the tool.I tested it on cardstock. I was able to get some clean cuts but it felt a little unnatural using it—the blade is angled so you have to turn the tool clockwise. Since I’m left handed I would have preferred turning it counterclockwise. I tried removing the blade from the ruler and turning it around, but the mount is shaped asymmetrically. Clearly they want to prevent people doing this because you wouldn’t get an accurate measurement after turning it around. I would have preferred the ruler on the top to be offset in a way that would allow the blade to be placed right in the center, so you could orient the blade however you like. The blade also started to dull pretty quickly. While it was sharp I got some pretty good circles after a little practice turning the tool clockwise. Now, though, the blade ends up pushing the paper which results in a warped cutout. It’s unfortunate. Though the tool had some initial promise, the fact that the blade dulled after one session is disappointing. It would be preferable if it came with at least one extra blade to account for the fact that people may need some practice with it before they can get their desired result. It was fun to use while the blade was sharp but in my opinion there is room for improvement.

once you get your hand placement down, works really well
This is a review for "Circle Cutter, Kaluofan Mini Circle Cutters for Crafts, Adjustable Any Size 2-20CM DIY Circular Paper Cutter Multi-Purpose, Circle Cutter Paper with Bottom Blade Guard, Easy Operation, Smooth Cutting"I was a little klunky at first with knowing where to put pressure and get the knife part moving, but once you figure that out, this things cuts really well. It doesn't feel very heavy, but it works well. The ruler is easy to read and adjust to get the size circle you are wanting. It comes with a silicone cap over the blade. The packaging is entirely in Japanese or Chinese (I don't know which one.) The point is, there is no English on the packaging for directions. It is easy to use even without explicit directions. There just are not that many moving parts...
