Speed up your puck prep with ease and cleanliness
A small yet mighty upgrade. The height ensures that there’s no grounds spilled over the top when in the grinder and using a WDT tool. The magnet is strong enough to not fall off when I use it to drop my whole beans in the grinders The funnel minorly sits in the basket, enough to stay stable, but not too deep to interfere with my puck prep. The product is lightweight, yet the quality is noticeable from the get-go. A great addition to my Breville Bambino set up.

Well-fitting Funnel
I got this dosing funnel for my 58mm bottomless portafilter (for E61 style grouphead). It fits very well and I love the tactile little snap feeling when you put it on or remove it! It's one of those user experience details that you don't expect and you don't fully appreciate until you try it out. Making coffee is a hobby for me. It's not just for morning caffeine. So I realized that it ought to be not only practical, but also fun. This dosing funnel design is both practical and enjoyable to use. The most important part to me for any dosing funnel is how close the fit is between the funnel and the portafilter. It needs to be sufficiently tight to minimize residual coffee grounds spilling onto the basket after removing the funnel (including if you WDT'd), yet not too tight to make removal difficult and cause spilling of grounds anyway if the force required to remove the funnel is too excessive. For this funnel, there are several features I noticed which help achieve a nice fit: 1) The magnets are just the perfect strength - easy to remove, yet strong enough to not cause shifts (and allow you to even flip the portafilter upside down for fun). 2) The funnel itself is light, not heavy at all. Just the right weight. Not excessively light either, so it'll stay in place. 3) There's a gentle groove on the outside of the funnel, which is thumb width. This makes it ergonomically easier to hold when removing. Not a big deal but a small design detail that makes it more enjoyable to use! 4) The inside slope and lip of the funnel is a very good fit with my portafilter. Not absolutely perfect, but I wouldn't expect that as that'd require matching the exact basket used (and would be very limiting to which 58mm baskets this would work with). There is no portion that extends below the lip of the portafilter basket into the basket sides, which would cause a leftover ring of space around your coffee grounds after removing the funnel. There's also a very minimal space between the inside bottom lip of the funnel and the top of the basket it comes in contact with. In practice, even when I WDT all over the place, there's very few coffee grounds that end up on the lip of the portafilter basket. These features combine for a very good fit for my basket. I don't expect a perfect fit as mentioned in feature #4 above. But so far it's the best dosing funnel I've used and it's nice for the price. Not mentioned above as it doesn't concern fit, but the height is perfect for me too. It works for me DF54 grinder so I can grind directly into the portafilter + funnel. One small nitpick. I wish the logo was a bit smaller. It's quite large for my tastes. Overall, this is a great funnel and on very pleased with my purchase. I have other dosing funnels that either attach too loosely (magnets way too loose) or extend down into the portafilter basket (causes that ring I mentioned earlier). I prefer this funnel design over those, no contest at all!

Makes life easier
Works very well. Makes puck prep faster and cleaner. Magnets are not as strong but the basket stays on just enough. The finish is very good and durable.

It's the Bomb(er)
The MHW-3BOMBER 54mm Espresso Dosing Funnel (DR5547B-OS) has truly elevated my home espresso game, and I’m thrilled to share my experience with this fantastic barista tool. Designed for 54mm portafilters, it’s compatible with machines like Breville and Sage, and it fits my Barista Express perfectly. Crafted from lightweight aluminum alloy, this dosing funnel weighs just 32 grams, making it easy to handle without feeling flimsy. The black anodized finish gives it a sleek, professional look, and its rust-resistant, anti-corrosion properties ensure durability. I’ve dropped it a couple of times by accident, and true to the product description, it didn’t dent or damage my counter—a small but appreciated detail. The standout feature is the magnetic design with 10 equally spaced magnets, providing a secure grip on the portafilter. I can flip my portafilter upside down, and the funnel stays firmly in place, which is a testament to the magnet strength. This outward locking design attaches to the outer ring of the portafilter, leaving the basket’s interior unobstructed, which makes dosing and using a WDT tool a breeze. The flared, wide-mouthed opening prevents coffee grounds from spilling, keeping my workspace clean and reducing waste—a huge win for my morning routine. Using this funnel has streamlined my espresso prep. Grinding directly into the portafilter is mess-free, and the taller design handles fluffy grounds well, especially when dosing from my grinder’s cup. It’s easy to clean—just a quick rinse or brush into my knock box, and it’s ready for the next shot. The only minor drawback is that it needs to be removed before tamping due to the inner collar, but this hasn’t been a significant issue for me. Overall, the MHW-3BOMBER 54mm Dosing Funnel is a high-quality, well-designed accessory that enhances efficiency and cleanliness. It’s a must-have for any home barista or professional looking to improve their espresso workflow. Highly recommended for its value, performance, and sleek aesthetics

Good quality, works great with df54 dosing cup
Good dosing funnel, unfortunately one of the magnets fell out after only about 10 days of X2 a day use, but still magnetizes ok. Puck s screen is a little fat, but fits good

Great tool
Have used this with 3 different 58mm portafilters: the two that come with the Turin Legato V2 and one from Normcore. The size and shape work great, and the magnetic feature is strong enough to keep the funnel in place but easy to remove when I'm done using it. I like to put the funnel on the portafilter, pour in grounds, then use a WDT tool before removing the funnel. It keeps everything clean and tidy during WDT. Paid about 13, great price to value.

Avoid for 51mm DeLonghi or their own portafilters
Doesn't sit flush on either Dedica or the 51mm portafilter of the same brand. There is simply no room for the 3 ears of the portafilter. Leaks coffee when using it. Only works if you remove the basket a few mm and reinsert it after distributing.

Practical Espresso Dosing Ring for Cleaner Coffee Preparation
This espresso dosing ring is a very helpful tool for anyone who prepares espresso at home. It fits neatly on top of the portafilter and helps keep coffee grounds from spilling while dosing and distributing the grounds. I noticed that it makes the process much cleaner and reduces waste, which is great when working with freshly ground coffee. The ring feels solid and well-made, and it’s easy to place and remove. Overall, it’s a simple but very useful accessory for improving the espresso workflow

Fait le job
J'ai eu des doutes mais sur un porte filtre bottomless Sage et le panier d'origine ou un IMS sans bride, ça aimante. C'est pas fou fou quand même mais ça tient.
