I have been carrying and using this light for almost a year and it’s almost perfect. I was most drawn to this light because of its ability to use the supplied rechargeable battery pack or CR123 cells. I like the fact thats it’s so simple. Just two modes, high and low. Each having enough light to get the job dome. Very simple user interface, momentary on or full click on. No battery indicators, no charging port just super simple and rugged. The brightness and tight beam shape is perfect for me. 1800 lumens at max brightness (with rechargeable) is plenty especially when you consider the high candela. An added bonus is that 1800 lumens can run a long time without overheating making this light suited for all tasks and not just those requiring max output quick use like many of Nitecore’s other EDC lights. It does perform the EDC role well due to its small size and light weight but is also excellent for general daily use. I have no complaints or nitpicks (rare for me) and consider this light one of their best!

In a word; AWESOME! We use it at night when we take the dogs out. We get rabbits and other critters that find their way into our fenced area and this light highlights them so we can excruciate them feom the area Best flashlight ive ever had! Charging is simple and the battery holds it's charge for a good amount of time.

Very, very bright small flashlight. Works well, but two negatives: You have to remove the battery to recharge it (there is a USB-C port built into the battery, not accessible from the outside of the light). And the end of the light near the "bulb" gets pretty hot. You won't want to use it for more than a couple of minutes at a time.

I have a lot of flashlights, been collecting them for years. This is a great "tactical" light with a simple UI. Very bright High with a lot of throw on the first click, lower out put on the second. The battery does have to be removed for charging, but the included battery has a usb C charging port built into the battery itself. I like this light enough that I bought two of these.

Carried a Streamlight for a while and liked it, but it had defects from the factory that Streamlight was nice and sent replacement parts for, but then those also failed within about 6 months of buying that light. I switched to a NiteCore MH10 after that because it was about the same dimensions as my old Streamlight and was also listed as an EDC light. TLDR on the MH10, good but definitely not an EDC light due to the fire button being on the side and constantly getting bumped on in my pocket. This popped up on my recommended products page a few weeks back and saw it had a tail cap switch, was smaller than my MH10, brighter than my MH10, and IP68 water resistance rating. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE EDC LIGHT! Super bright, super simple to use tail cap, single press on for full bright, click off and on again for low. Fits nicely in my pocket, the clip is nice and snug, and the battery life is great. I've already turned a few friends onto this light for EDC, as it's cheaper than big brand counterparts and just as good! Highly recommend for EDC, rucking, camping, hiking, keeping in the glovebox, etc.
