OK, so I spent way too much time looking at similar tool sets on Amazon. This is the only one that I could find in this price range that includes both SAE and metric sets of hex tools, sockets, and wrenches. You also get two sets of screw drivers, two kinds of pliers, two kinds of wrenches, two sizes of ratchets, and a decently heavy 12oz hammer. Initial impressions are that the quality seems solids, though I haven't put the tools to use just yet. As other reviews note, the sockets tend to fall out of their slots when the tool set is upright, but pretty much all the cheap tool sets will have this issue, unfortunately.

This is a really nice set of tools. It consists of good sets of wrenches and sockets. The quality (material, construction) is definitely not top notch. But it should meet your basic needs for various basic household and vehicle mechanical work. Every home should have a set of these.

I love having this because when I need to put something together I have all the tools I need. No more waiting.

When you tried to close the tool, set the tools do not stay snapped into the case. They all fall out. This is frustrating.

Such a cute color and seems pretty decent quality set to keep around the house

This is such a handy tool set. We put it to use immediately. It has nearly everything we could use for around the house jobs. The only missing aspect, somewhat surprising, is that there are no metric Allen head bits, only standard. It includes two sets of Allen wrenches, metric and standard, but the Allen drill bits are only standard. Some of the tools do not stay seated in the plastic case after carrying, but that’s a minor issue. The utility knife is exceptionally sharp and can be broken off six or seven times to create a new tip as well as having additional blades. We had a job where the groove joint pliers worked perfectly. It’s nice to have both sizes of ratchets and multiple versions/sizes of every other tool. The screwdriver handles have an unexpected texture, but they are comfortable. All of the tools have a synthetic rubber grip that makes it easy to grasp them. The hammer even has a contoured grip. I have been looking for a compact, thorough toolset and absolutely love this set. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it.

I was surprised at how big this set is in person! I put a water bottle in my pic for size reference. It has everything you need for small projects and simple repairs around the house. The tools and accessories are great quality and feel up for heavy duty tasks. Everything snaps right back into its position in the case except the driver sockets... you have to be careful to close the box the right way or they all fall out. This would also be a great gift for that crafty lady in your life. Overall this set exceeds my expectations and I'm very happy with it! Highly recommend.

Very nice set of tools for around the house. Really impressed with the quality of everything, even the hammer is of good quality. Highly recommend this kit if you're looking for a good kit to keep around the house.
