Excellent - well made and performs as expected. Allows you to cook/steam delicate asparagus spears 'from the bottom up' to prevent overcooking the delicate 'tips'. Have owned others before with a coarser lattice which has a tendency to allow the asparagus to fall through. The screened insert prevents that from happening and allows you to use the pot for other purposes as well such as pasta. Heavy duty solid base construction and handles are a huge plus factor for heat distribution and handling.

Just received this pot. Packing was sketchy with a hole in the side of the packing box and nothing protecting pot inside, but it was still in good condition. The instructions were written in Chinese, so they were of no use to me. I spent a lot of time looking for a pasta cooker that did not have a non-stick interior coating. Our previous pasta pot had a non-stick interior coating, which started to flake off after a number of years. Based on the reviews, I believed this would be the right pot for our needs. The pot itself is very nice of medium weight steel. The lid fits nicely. The basket has a handle to lift it and a hanger for steaming. I got it to cook pasta noodles. It is taller than the pot it replaces, so it should be ideal for that purpose. After a couple of pasta cooks, the pot does what we bought it for. The key is to bring the water to a hard boil before dropping the pasta into the water.

Very poor quality. Rust firms after one washing. Pot split in half down one side after 4 uses. This unit is NOT dishwasher safe, though claims to be.

I haven’t used the steaming features yet, but this pot is great for pasta for two! The pot itself has a thick bottom and I like how easy the flat screen insert is to clean.

Quality is good, but too short for spaghetti. What a pity! I kept it, but wish it would be longer.

No es de acero inoxidable. La calidad del metal es bajísima, hecho en China, no es de Corea, mucho menos de Alemania. ¡No lo compren!

The pot performs as advertised. I like the fact that it comes with an instructions manual on how to use it, or any other pot to perform and to last. It also looks superior to the other pots I have in the haus. I just wish the vendor shipped a 5 liter pot as I had ordered and not a 4.5 liter pot.
