The pillow is very soft and has strong support. My head felt very refreshing all night. I like it very much and will buy it again if needed.

I really wanted to love this pillow. I sleep very hot and love the idea of a cooling pillow that forms to your head. I was shocked at how heavy this thing was when I pulled it out of the package. I does live up to its promise of running cool, but unfortunately it just doesn’t provide enough neck support. The pillow is too flat for me. I need a thicker pillow. That’s just a personal preference though so I don’t think that takes away from others experience with it. I will not be keeping this pillow, but if you’re looking for a pillow to keep you a little cooler and are ok with a lower profile pillow, this could be a great fit.

This pillow is HEAVY -- maybe like 5-7 pounds? It cools as advertised (really well) and keeps its shape without being too firm. Definitely a high-quality pillow. Having laid on a purple pillow, I would say this is pretty similar, but with a bit more cushioning on the outside, and it's quite a bit firmer (less give to it than the purple standard). I like the purple better for sleeping on, but this one is my favorite leg pillow between my knees if sleeping on my side, especially since it takes a lot to get this thing hot. The weight is really calming in that position. It's reallly good for propping myself up too, since it's so substantial. Also, this is an ideal pillow for getting things in the exact right position while awake in your bed because it's heavy and stays put. I sleep inclined with an adjustable bed for health reasons, and I really haven't found a pillow that does a good job keeping my neck in the right position while inclined. This one doesn't really do that either, but it's really nice for other things. I think $249 price tag is a tad high (which is why I deducted a star), but it is definitely a premium pillow.

The first thing I noticed is the weight. This has to be the heaviest memory foam pillow I ever own. It’s at least 5 lbs. I have to say it’s very effective in cooling, very generous sized cooling area. The cooling gel actually reduces my temperature which allows me to fall asleep faster. The cooling gel may not be as effective with additional layer, therefore, I suggest not to use any additional pillow covers than the one provided. I like that the case feels soft yet has durable fabric and it’s simple to remove and wash. As for comfort and support, I am a side-sleeper and stomach sleeper. This pillow allows me to sleep in either position comfortably. It’s slow-rebound memory foam and heavy. I’d rate this med-firm on the firmness scale. Provides wonderful cooling and support for my neck/head.

When it comes to pillows I've tried them all. However, this is the most expensive pillow I've ever used, and I can truly say it is far from being worth $200. The cooling effects a very minimal, and I still had neck pain while using it. It is comfy and forms to your head though, but it feels more like a $50 pillow, not a $200 one. With that being said I will rate this 3/5.

When I first touched the pillow it felt really cool to the touch but after long contact it seemed to absorb my body heat and reflect it back to me. That said when it comes to my wife and I I’m the kind that always runs hot. I touch her and I feel hot, she touches me and I feel an icicle. Even though she’s usually cold at night she’s a hot sleeper and benefits from her cooling blanket. The pillow works more for her than myself. The pillow is very heavy and supportive but I can’t say the cooling is effective. Compared to other higher end pillows the comfort is comparable but still think it’s a bit pricey.

I've had the purple pillow on my wishlist forever. I had a chance to review this item and decided to take a chance on it, since it seems to be very comparable to the pillow I wanted. It exceeded all my expectations! It's nice and cool, keeps its shape all night, and as a side sleeper, fills that gap between my head and shoulders. I love this pillow and it has completely changed how I sleep.

I really like it. It works exactly as described. I would purchase again. Just as good as “namebrand” for a fraction of the cost. Good product. Would recommend.
