These worked out very well. I had originally purchased some foam standing mats for the garage. Unfortunately, the foam mats had zero water resistance. This led me to find a thinner mat to place on top of the foam mats to extend their longevity and add a waterproof barrier. The ribbed mats worked out really really well. They’re thin enough to lay on top of another mat without making it too bulky, and they are completely waterproof! They feel pretty tough and seem to handle foot and cart traffic really well. I also like the look and feel. They have a glossy finish that makes the area look rather nice. Although the finish shows dirt, it’s easy to sweep or wipe off. I’ll also add to get the wider ribbed design so you can easily clean in between the ribs. I also wanted to comment on the difficulty of laying it flat. I tried two things. 1. Place something heavy on it. This only partially worked. 2. Let the sun heat it up to relax and soften the material. This method worked much better. If you have an heat gun, you can also heat the edges to help it lay flat. But be careful, it does tend to stretch if it’s warm, so lay it flat with heat but don’t place anything on it permanently until the mat cools to prevent warping. Overall, highly recommend!

It's ok but I would have preferred if it were a bit stiffer so that it does not crease under traffic.

We bought another roll of this plastic (3 rolls total) to protect our concrete from icicles falling from our roof. I laid it under the roof’s drip line on the concrete and it worked great last year from the huge icicles we get at our mountain home. I also cut a piece to cover over our hot tub. It slips under the covers bar, so when we open the lid it folds right over. After winter, I just rolled the plastic back up to store away. The plastic lays flat and the wind never lifted it all winter. This new roll will be placed in front of our garage to protect the asphalt. This is a cheap way to protect our concrete from winter damage.

Purchase for our business to use for floor protection while working on homes. Love that it is slip resistant, very heavyweight and easy to clean. We have reused through several homes and purchased more!

Works great the best in dog house

I have no real words to describe this piece of junk. I don’t know how anyone could rate this as 5 stars - people’s expectations must be really low. This is described as heavy duty and states this won’t slip on wood floors etc. I could use this as a sled. It’s not rubber it’s plastic and to say this is a carpet runner is ridiculous. A runner has more of a flexible cushioned softness and sticks because it has a rubbery flex to it - this does not. It’s thin, and flimsy and while others say this lays flat or that you can put something heavy in this to have it lie flat - I don’t have the time to shave years off my life to wait for that to happen. This is a $30 plus dollar worth of garbage. This is the most disappointing thing I have ever purchased from Amazon and because I’m too lazy and do not want to wrap it back up with the stuff that stuck to it because the static from moving around the floor attracted dust I am going to keep this and toss it in the trash - this is money down the drain - nice try with the picture of putting this in a flat bed - this would slide right out if the hitch was open. I can’t even use this for a runner at my business if I wanted because I’d probably be sued - someone would either slip on it or trip on it because it refuses ti lie flat and moved all over the place - I’m still wondering how anyone gave this more than one star and I’m usually never the one to complain or care about bad reviews.

Have had this for about 9 months and it’s still in perfect condition. Vacuum and mop it several times a week. Doesn’t slide on wood floor. Using it to protect floors from extra large dogs nails scratches
