It came completely damaged. Frame broken at all four corners BEFORE it was packed. Terrible . Cheap plastic

Oh, I really liked the concept of this product. The reality was very disappointing. The map arrived with a major crack running through the gemstone "ocean" from top to bottom. One of the little clocks immediately fell out of its niche and would not stay in. A great pity about the damage -- this would have been stunning product otherwise. Of course, it was returned immediately. Amazon was great about the return. I decided against a replacement, however, because I felt it had not been packed sufficiently well by the manufacturer to protect it during shipment and I was worried I might receive another damaged product. (Mind you, the carton that Amazon shipped the product in was in pristine condition upon arrival, so I'm surmising that the damage occurred somewhere else in its handling and travels.) Also (and this is a subjective point, I admit), I thought the frame looked cheap and tacky. The map face is elegant and deserves a much better frame, in my opinion.

This was meant to be an anniversary gift and the quality looks cheap.
