Shu UemuraShusu Sleek Smoothing Shampoo Unisex, 10 Ounce

This shampoo, along with the Shusu Sleep Smoothing Treatment (thanks to another Amazon reviewers recommendation) have transformed my thick, course, frizzy, totally yucky texture hair into silk. I can finally let my hair dry naturally and enjoy my natural waves, or blow it out and it really does literally feel like silk. Also, a little goes a long way. FYI this shampoo has the most magical scent in the world! I can't even describe it. It just smells luxurious. And for reference, I have tried EVERYTHING; every expensive shampoo/conditioner out there. This is the best.UPDATE:So after 3 weeks my opinion has changed. My hair loves this shampoo, my scalp just doesn't. It doesn't clean my scalp thoroughly enough, so I wind up with product buildup on my scalp, which turns into flakes. I always shampoo twice so I've started using my sachajuan scalp shampoo for the first shampoo to get all the gunk out of my hair, the shampoo with this, then follow with the conditioner (which I still love). After I use up this Shampoo I will prob just shampoo with the Sachajuan and the use the smoothing treatment.

I found using the sleek smoothing shampoo alone does a great job. Lol. Bit with the masque (as a conditioner and a masque) rocks. My hair is medium course texture and long. It's so hard to find anything that can tame my frizzy but this does it well! No overwhelming smell which kinda bums me out. I happen to like strong scents. Bit all in all I'd recommend to anyone that has unruly hair. Not quite for the thin hair. Unless u use the sleek smoothing shampoo and nothing else. Now I'm going to cheat and paste this review with the masque because I accidentally covered both in this shampoo review. Haha

I had been using Oribe Gold Lust products for the last year or two and my hair had never looked worse! Switched to Shu Uemura and couldn't be happier. My hair looks & feels thick, healthy & awesome. Other reviewers commented on the scent, it's only noticeable while washing, not afterward. I highly recommend it - using this with the Shusu Sleek Conditioner.

This shampoo is so greta for really thick, unruly hair! I smooths it and allows for easier blowouts. It is expensive, but I use it sparingly and find it hard to do without!

I did not feel any difference with this shampoo. But now I know and won't order it again.

Not the amazing results I was hoping for but you have to try these things. My mixed race hair is very challenging however in that its coarse in places and has mixed textures.

This is great for my hair which tends to go frizzy when damp, also many years of colouring makes it feel dry and not great condition. Can feel the difference even whey washing let alone when dry. I also have very thick hair but you don't need a lot so goes along way.
