This thing is wonderful in terms of speed (definitely meets the speeds of the advertised Thunderbolt spec), quality (doesn't feel like it'll fall apart or break internally if bent, although it is a bit tough), and it's a reasonable length for most use cases.It's definitely expensive, but if you want a future-proof cable that'll handle whatever you need to use it for, this will almost certainly work for any use case. It works for high speed data transfer, display even at high refresh rates (120Hz tested) and I haven't had any issues with slowdowns or bottlenecks so far.

The cable is good. The transfer rate is also good, but not as high as it's written. It all depends on the PC as well. I have used it to transfer all my data from my old PC to my new one.

Works great even with a very particular monitor that only “likes” some cables. Great buy too at 1/2 of some others.

Great Thunderbolt 5 cable with a genuine Intel certification that you can check for yourself on the Thunderbolt website. Both Thunderbolt and USB compatible. I've personally used mine for super fast charging my phone and for data transfers from a portable SSD. I like how flexible this Thunderbolt cable is compared to USB4 cables that can do the same data transfer rates and charging speeds; my USB4 80 Gbps / 240W charging cable is a bit stiff by comparison. The Thunderbolt logo is clearly labeled on the ends of the cable but the 240W charging label on the insulation is a little difficult to make out unless you look very closely. Fantastic cable overall.

It delivers seriously impressive speed and charging capabilities in a compact 1-meter package. The data rate provides lightning-fast file transfers, and the optional speed transfer boost is actually a game-changer for high-bandwidth tasks. Also appreciated its 240W charging capacity which comfortably powers all the power-hungry devices that I have at my home. It seamlessly works with most of my equipment. My only minor gripe is the relatively short length since sometimes an extra foot or two would come in handy.

I went down the certified USB-C cable rabbit hole. This is solid product. I've purchased many things from Cable Matters because it's a name I trust. I need the latest Thunderbolt 5 cable to test compatibility with a new monitor setup and this was an obvious pick. They aren't the cheapest cables out there, but you can trust they will work to the specs you order.

I use this cable to transfer very large files (300-500+page documents per file with graphics, photos and movies) to and from my Macbook Air to an external hard drive, as well as to backup my computer onto an additional external hard drive. I am little paranoid as I have lost files before, so I always make extra backups. This cable does it very quickly! It is fast! I am extremely happy with this cable as it is very sturdy and does not tangle. All my files are transferred (depending on the size) on average, in about 5-10 seconds at most. Thunderbolt is the way to go.
