I own a spayed five-year old female German Shepherd, and she had caused many spots of burnt grass in my yard. Someone told me about dog treats that neutralize the urine and therefore stop the grass from being damaged, so I decided to give it a try. I selected this particular product, and not only does she love the treats, it actually saves my lawn. This will be a permanent purchase because I can now maintain a beautiful lawn without the great hassle of having to fix it.

as you can see from the video I've been using these for my three dogs since October of last year and they have been a spectacular failure. I stopped giving them to them this morning and if by some chance my yard looks 50% worse in a month I will definitely be fair enough to come back and post an updated review but based on the extensive timeline that I've used these, and the video evidence of their failure I can't justify the considerable expense any longer. As I outlined in the video I have numerous cameras around my property and have even gone to great pains to investigate the places to ensure that no other animal has come into my yard and peed on top of where my dogs peed, and made very sure to highlight in the video only those areas where I have confirmed by marking with the flag where my dogs have urinated. I hesitated to start giving these to my dogs last October because there was mixed messaging about the potential harm it may cause them but it was not based in any kind of fact so I thought I would give them a try. My veterinarian was apathetic about it and basically said I would probably just noticed that they were drinking more water which would dilute the urine and potentially make the lawn damage have a smaller diameter than without the chews. that may in fact be the case, but certainly the claim is that it eliminates them so we'll see you over the next few months if it gets worse. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to endure another spring with my lawn being completely decimated off the back patio where our dog door is because that's where they pee most of the winter months. Seem to work somewhat

Why did you pick this product vs others?: has been great for my 80 lb lab. 4 every morning and no more patches only issue is when his “cousin “ comes over he is not in the pills and leaves burn spots… it does take a couple of weeks to work

I have 3 dogs and used this product for about 6 months. I gave it plenty of opportunities to work, I checked constantly and was pretty consistent at giving the chews. I could tell no notable difference in brown spots. I still had dead spots everywhere and conform my observation it had no effect. I don’t recommend. I gave two stars instead of one because I don’t know if it has other positive effects that I did not check? All I wanted was my dogs pee not to kill my lawn. A big thumbs down on that one.

Doesn’t do as well as we had hoped.

I switched to this product as the one prior is now unavailable. I'm VERY picky about what I give my two huskies and all ingredients in any product. While I understand not everyone will have the same results (hello we all have different dogs), I can say that so far this has been a suitable replacement with positive results. Instead of urine burn, I have vibrant green patches of grass where the dogs urinate.
