Looks expensive with the exception of the normal cheap battery operated clock workings. I know there is little in the way of alternative but this does somehow let the feeling of value for money down a little. It does however, look the part and sits well on the garden fence. The hands could be a little clearer to read as, from distance, they blend into the face itself. All in all I would recommend to improve the look of a garden but, don't go setting your watch by it.

Early birthday gift for hubby. Saw it, loved it, bought it.

UPDATE BELOW: The clock arrived and a battery inserted. I checked that the battery was fully charged. The clock hands do not appear connected to the mechanism. It ticks but the hands do not move. I phoned the 087 number as instructed - at which point my overall outlay increased by another £1... just to tell them it is not working. ""I'll ask our technical department and ring you back." Needless to say, there has been no call. Do I really want to spend further large sums of money phoning again? Not really. Very disappointed.UPDATE 4 DAYS ON: one to three stars...After a couple of days I had a call back, asking me to look carefully at the clock hands. I did, and also at the spindle mechanism on which they are mounted. It seemed slightly out of true. So after lots of pulling and wiggling, I got it working!

Pleased so far with this clock. It does keep time too although other reviews said it does not. Looks good on my garden room wall.

Lovely clock Fingers slightly thin but can be bent when they stick. Excellent delivery. Package came whilst I was out but it was taken round the back and placed out of sight in my shed. Would have given 5 but for the fingers and damage to the packaging the box was torn

It looks really nice, the hands occasionally stick together but it gets very windy we’re we live, but it just breaks up our garage wall..

Have put the clock on the garden fence, it looks great and definitely makes a statement!The quality seems good and so far after 4 days has remained accurate time so hoping this remains so.I would recommend this purchase.

I love the look of this clock which is mounted on the gable end of our kitchen extension. I was also pleased with its time keeping until it stopped after about a week. I put in a brand new battery and again it kept good time until it stopped again after another week. Apart from the cost of the batteries, it is a pain to change them as I have to climb a ladder to get the clock down. Overall quite disappointed.
