This is a great razor! I knew I wanted Panasonic-I had a Panasonic shaver for 10 years and had to replace it and this is the updated version. It’s perfect for legs, underarms and everywhere and it’s smooth shaving in both directions. Charges quickly and charging dock is included. I’m able to use it several times between charging. Never had a problem with the original razor and would highly recommend.

For someone with extremely sensitive skin and who is too cheap to buy shaving cream this is a perfect razor. Wish I bought one years ago!

After a handful of months of use, I noticed a significant drop in runtime. One reviewer shared that their newer model wouldn’t indicate when it was fully charged and the battery simply stopped holding its charge long term . I’ve had a similar experience—the razor’s runtime has noticeably declined, and the lack of a clear charge indicator (just a steady light) makes it hard to tell when it’s ready. A quick‑charge mode would have been a lifesaver here .So while the shave experience is top‑notch, the battery life holds it back from perfection. That’s why I’m giving it a solid four stars. You’ll love how effortlessly it glides and how soft your skin feels afterward—but be prepared for battery fatigue down the road.⸻Bottom line: Excellent performance for a smooth, irritation‑free shave, but declining battery longevity keeps it from being a flawless pick.

I was skeptical of how this would perform… with regard to how close of a shave (smoothness and hair visibility).I was very much pleasantly surprised when, after a few gentle passes, this shaver removed all visible hair. It seems to have a decent charging capacity so far… at a full charge, I’ve been able to shave my legs twice.Now, if you’re looking for baby tush smooth, this is not it. Granted, I honestly don’t think any shaver can do what a blade directly on skin can do. That aside, as you can see in my before and after pictures, it really does remove those tiny little hairs, that persistently seem to pop up after one or two days of shaving. So it is pretty darn close to SMOOTH.My goal was to get a shaver that would remove all visible hair and reduce stubble as much as possible, without the trauma a razor (blade to skin) causes.The shaver is a reasonable size, not too big not too small… not ideal for those tricky areas of your private parts.I highly recommend this product, if your goal is similar to mine. This is NOT a replacement for a razor, it is unlikely you will get that porcelain skin smoothness. However, please note, that I did use this on my arms too. My arms turned out very smooth. But this is likely due to the hair thickness in comparison to that of my leg hairs.How I shaved:Perpendicular to my skin, I passed the shaver, slowly, firmly, and a few times (in a circular motion), over the area with hair. This worked wonders.

Took some time to get use to. Small circular motions work the best! Totally satisfied. My daughter in law even uses it when she comes over. 10 out of 10!

The charger for this shaver is very poorly designed. When the shaver is attached to the charger and the charger is then plugged into the outlet, the shaver and charger tilt outward and pull out of the outlet from the weight of the shaver and charger and the very small prongs on the charger block. This makes it unusable since it can't be charged! I tried this on a few different outlets with the same results. There is no cord so it must be plugged directly into an outlet. The instructions warn against using an extension cord. I will be returning this item. I did not use the shaver, this review is strictly about the design of the charger.

I had this same shaver for over 20 years before it wouldn’t hold a charge and forced me to replace it. While the new model still shaves well, Panasonic made some stupid design changes and costs them some stars.The cover is huge and is hard to take off. There’s no need for this enormous cover. The old model had a small cap that covered just the top, where the foil and blades are. That’s all that’s needed, folks. Now when I try to take the cover off I often end up taking off the top half of the shaver as well. It’s a clunky and potentially damaging design. Boo.I also don’t understand why they made it so difficult to remove the encasement over the blades. This is where the foil is. I take it off after every use just to rinse the inner workings and keep it clean. They’ve made it hard to press both side buttons of the casing at the same time because it takes so much pressure to remove it. Also, as I have to grip tightly to press on both buttons I often end up hitting the On button. They really messed up by changing the design and seemed to have not taken into account that trying to press so hard on these release buttons with soapy or wet hands would be so difficult.The old design was perfect. I don’t see why they changed a design that worked and didn’t need to be altered. No consideration for ergonomics.
