How do you enter the installer menu? Pressing Menu anf timer symbols as per the instructions doesnt work.

My instructions state "press menu icon and up arrow icon at the same time, for 5 secs, whith the termostat off". This worked for me. (Initially I tried holding "menu + off" icons as per numerous youtube videos. This ddoesn't work for this model.

If set for a certain temp, to maintain that temp the thermostat within the controller will switch it off and on as necessary, else it would be heating all the time and not get maintained at your desired temp. There are very simple descriptions on youtube.
