Worked in my 911 996T
Removed the CD changer from my 911 and the radio sound stopped working. Bought this to complete the fiber optic loop and now everything works again. Cheap fix for a big problem.

Worked with Modification
Bought these for my W221 S550 however, the connector shrouds were not compatible. I made this work nicely by carefully breaking away the outer shroud, allowing the exposed fiber optic bundles to be inserted into the car's fiber optic connector, and doing this I was able to troubleshoot the failure and purchase another module- this fixed the sound system. All in all, this was an invaluable tool with modification. Would be 5 stars otherwise- Note: I almost gave up and sent these back, but decided to give a try to what looked to be the only and best way to make this work, and it did. Hope this helps!
