So far, I’m extremely satisfied with this product!!! 😀
I bought this primarily for resurfacing seven, 8’ x 30” commercial stainless steel food preparation and serving tables in our church’s kitchen and social hall. Each of the tables consist of two full length shelves. I first wanted to try the tool on my commercial table saw top and jointer top so that I could get a good feel for how the different grit drawing wheels and the burnisher itself would perform. Previously, I have always used a random orbit sander with #220, then #400 sanding discs to condition these surfaces. I would then follow with a high-grade metal polish. Today, it was time to try something new. I must admit, I was not expecting such good results! I started with a #180 wheel, followed by a #320 wheel and finished with a #800 grit wheel. I was able to complete the entire process, including wheel changes, in roughly the same amount of time as I would have, had I used the sander. Not only that, but the surface was left just as smooth, or even a bit smoother than I could achieve with just the sander. Once I applied the metal polish, my 200w high bay shop lights happily glistened off of the freshly dressed steel. 😀 This new burnisher performed flawlessly. The drawing wheels fit nicely with absolutely no play on the spindle. There was virtually zero noticeable vibration at all. Even with the coarser grit wheels, which I found a bit surprising. Another great feature of this tool is it is soft-starting, which means the RPMs slowly build over a second, or two when the trigger is depressed. This provides an extra layer of control. The variable speed control knob is very conveniently located, was smooth operating and provided for precise control and stability from start to finish. Although I only put about 20 minutes total run time on the tool, the gearbox never did get hot. In fact, it barely even got warm. However, I will keep a close eye on the temperature of the gears and should they begin to heat up excessively with extended use, I’ll add some high-temp grease to the gearbox. One of the primary reasons for tools of this design (grinders, polishers, burnishers, etc.) failing is from the gearbox overheating. Well, I think I’m ready to go make those stainless steel tables look brand new again! 😉 Thus far, I’m completely satisfied with this purchase and I highly recommend this burnisher!!! Especially considering the price point. 😀

Powered Resurfacing Wheel
I shopped around and ran into brand. Great Price from what I found locally. Didn’t take long to ship and it does a great job taking off rust from the surface. So the Pros are that it’s a great price takes large amounts of debris. Cons are the size does make it difficult to get into tight spaces. Very easy to use and great durability. So over all I still give this a 5 and would recommend.

Does good.
It exceeded my expectations for quality and performance, comes with spare brushes and 1 drum. Plenty of power and variable speed is helpful to avoid heat on thin metal.

ROI on this cheap tool much higher than some high cost name brands
I used this tool right out of the box on numerous patches of decades of rust scattered across approx. 100 ft/sq on steel siding. The supplied drum worked well but massively degraded, so luckily I also found some 2 for 20 bucks 40 grit drums that fit and perform like the supplied ASIN B0CRY5NXMX on here, but in hindsight would have taken the tool with 3 drums as that's what it took. I burnished the rust down to the point it was smooth thick painted Etch & Prep full strength let sit over night, used 80 grit drywall screens to bust out the prep & etch, brush painted on Rustoleum Rusty Metal Red Primer 7769402 thick. Waited a couple of days hit it with 80 grit orbital, next sprayed on Gray Rustoleum Alkyld primer 330142 with decades old HF cheapest trad gun, that has a cure time of a week so after that hit with 120 orbital, washed then airless 517 tip SW SP Uncertain Gray satin. Moral of story, main enemy was decades of rust - this tool was the primary tool that enabled me to slay the oxidation dragon with a single blow, apply regular stuff and have the rust permanently killed for many years.

Amazibg for Shou Sugi Ban sanding!!
Amazing tool!! I love this thing, especially for the price. I also used in conjunction with the nylon bristle sanding wheels for getting the burn layers down in word working and the Shu Sugi Ban technique. Yeah, youre going to get dusty and dirty, so wear a good respirator and be ready to take a few showers. This tool does what it says and is amazing, and with the right price you can't beat it! Even if or when the motor goes, which they do give some spare parts for, i will be buying another.

Great for preparing square steel tubing for welding.
Works well on square steel tubing being welded into a sculpture. Cleans off the surface rust and debris.

Powerful, heavy, make a ton of dust.
This machine is super powerful for sanding rough wood before staining, but it’s real heavy and the weight ain’t well balanced. It makes a ton of dust too. I’ve used the Makita 9741 Wheel Sander before, which is less powerful but way nicer to handle. Decent for the price, but you gotta expect that!
