Love this keyboard and protection case. Very easy to use and the flexibility of the screen rotating is especially useful. It is a little heavy but its a trade off for the functionality.

I’ve owned an iPad since they first launched. I also travel a lot for business. One of the problems with modern business travel is trying to be productive when you’re crammed into a coach seat. Most laptops are just too big to be used on planes.I even had a laptop get destroyed when the jerk in front of my slammed his seat back into a recline, caught the lid, and broke the screen and hinge.My iPad has given me options to get work done but also entertainment in flights and it’s been invaluable. But the lack of a keyboard makes the iPad difficult to use for productivity.This little case to the rescue. I’ve owned a lot of different cases over the years and this has proven to be my favorite. It’s my second one. The last one I had for about 5 years. It lasted as long as my old iPad did and I’m hoping this one does too.What I love about this iPad case is that turns my iPad into a full laptop experience. It’s stable on bumpy flights and I can actually use it on my lap, unlike some other keyboard cases. I can also still use the iPad as an iPad when I want to while turning my iPad into a laptop with an ILLUMINATED keyboard and a trackpad!Yes! An illuminated keyboard which is perfect on overnight flights when the lights are out and it’s dark enough on the plane to make visibility of the keys difficult.Not expensive, durable, and perfect for a business traveler. What more could you want?

It works great! Connects easily. Comfortable to type on. The design is great. Love how you can swivel it to any viewing angle AND go into tablet mode. The swivel is secure, but there's a gap between the top and keyboard bottom, and you can very easily push them down to touch each other. But I've had it for a while, and through general use and travel (switching from tablet to computer mode a lot). It got scratched very easily, but these are cosmetic damages, and I'm prioritizing functionality and a decent price, so it doesn't concern me too much. I've had no complaints on battery life either

This is the third iPad keyboard case I have had from Typecase and they have all been great. I had one for my previous iPad 5 and iPad 7, and just got this one for my iPad Pro 11. The value for what you get for what you pay is awesome. There may not be a better value for performance and price paid. The case fits my iPad perfectly. It is snug but not too tight and it offers more protection than the Apple Magic Keyboard. The keys light up in multiple selectable colors and in three different intensities. I love this because part of my job is done in a very dark environment so this comes in very handy. The trackpad works well too. My previous two Typecase cases just had a keyboard and no trackpad so this is an awesome upgrade. Now my iPad functions basically like a laptop. I LOVE the number of ways you can position this too. It works like a laptop or you can turn the screen around and it stays up to watch a show. You can also turn it around and lay it flat if you want to hold it on your lap with no keyboard. Yes, at a certain angle (45ish degrees) it will get too top heavy and tip over, but that’s just physics and no fault of this case.Pros:- great keyboard — responsive and the keys are not too hard nor too mushy- lighted keyboard in multi colors- easy connection and set up (took less than 20 seconds)- good battery life- the almost endless number of positions- tap to click- two-finger tap (right mouse button)Cons:- trackpad is a little sensitive which took some getting used to (the cursor moves a little quicker than my Macbook but it’s still very controllable)- the trackpad “click” sound is a little loud (I don’t mind it but in a quiet room it might be a little annoying) — but I just use tap to click so this really isn’t an issue unless you want to use the full clickOverall, the Cons are just minor annoyances and the benefits far outweigh them.I love this case and still gladly give it 5 stars. It is tremendous value and I highly recommend it to anyone with an iPad. The previous two I stopped using only because the iPads became obsolete at work. (My kids use them now so they are still going strong.) I’ve been so happy with this and I would absolutely purchase it again.

Edit: company reached out to me a replaced the case/keyboard for no additional charge. Recently dropped my iPad with the case on, happy to report no damages.Original: It’s ok. It protects, kind of. Very thin plastic housing for iPad. The keyboard makes a very obnoxious buzzing sound when turned on. Will most likely return it.

It’s a nice case and keyboard but it doesn’t fit the IPad to well the clamp by the camera keeps slipping off I don’t know if I was just sent the wrong case for my IPad. I did look in my settings and selected the IPad I have when ordering.The company actually reached out to me and was offering a refund and we decided they were gonna send me another case. That was the right fit for the iPad because the first one was not because of a mixup or something. very nice. Customer service very attentive.
