Not sure what the squirrels make of it, but this stuff would certainly keep me away! It's not a bad smell, but very pervasive. We had issues with squirrels gnawing on lead flashing around a dormer window; it's only been a couple of days but I haven't heard them since I applied this. It will be interesting to see how it survives the weather - we haven't had rain yet. Easy to mix and apply.

So I have a side ground floor extension with pitched roof, there are squirrel living up there. The space is very limited so I soaked like 4 litres of water + 1/4 bottle of this liquid and sprayed the crazy out of that space. 24 hours, no difference, squirrels running around and no sign of any effectiveness. The liquid stinks but does not affect rodents!

My neighbour has 2 squirrel feeders full of monkey-nuts, which attracts every squirrel within a 20 mile radius, who then use my garden and my plant pots to bury said monkey-nuts. I've spent a lot of money on flowers just to have them all dug up by the squirrels (and also by the magpies who watch where the squirrels bury the monkey nuts and then come down and steal them!) I've tried all sorts of repellents but this is the first one that has worked! (I'm not surprised considering how bad it smells!). I dilute the solution is water in a spray bottle and spray all the earth surfaces on my plant pots and it has stopped the squirrels digging them up!! Only 2 problems- you have to re-spray every few days (more often if it rains) and by heaven, does this repellant smell bad! I highly recommend making up the solution outside whilst wearing rubber gloves. I made the mistake of first preparing it in the kitchen and it stunk out the whole room and me! I'm quite prepared however to put up with the smell of it as it's the only thing I've found that does stop the squirrels digging!

Not bad repellent but once it rains just washes away. A pellet would work better. Just waisting your money, we have too much rain and the squirrels just keep digging my lawn up

I have tried this repellent and it’s very good.

I have a bird feeder that was being pestered by squirrels. I followed the instructions to the letter with no effect. Increased strength to 20 drops per 100ml with again no effect, the squirrels completely ignored it. I was spraying every couple of hours during the day. Finally I tried it neat and poured drops all over the floor, over the small fence the squirrels climb to get to the feeder, and all over the feeder itself. I went out about an hour later to find one of the squirrels sat in the feed bowl and another hanging off the feeder! Complete waste of time and money. Have now ordered some rodent poison...

2nd year of using this. Does exactly what it says it does, perfect harm free solution.
