Good quality container, no drip spout, vent is silly but works. I use this for water for dogs on road trips, hand washing, dish washing. Works good.

It’s a really nice and sturdy water jug. The water flow valve is great to have and I like the shape and how it sits upright for storage and you can shift it forward to pour water into cups. Also, the carry handle design is nice and makes it easy to transport. A couple things to note, if your spigot fitting leaks, it’s most likely that the internal nut with the washer is loose from factory and you’ll need to tighten it. It’s a two-piece spigot cap and luckily I was already aware of this from another review and tightened it up with a 22mm socket and no leaks! Time will tell if it stays that way but I’m confident. Also, the airflow valve in the handle is a bit tough to pull out with your fingers. What I did to fix this was tie a small piece of yarn around the recessed center of the airflow valve cap and used the string for leverage to pull the airflow valve out. Works like a charm now. Lastly, taking off the spigot is the only way to add water to the container. Be aware it’s not the largest opening so depending on how you are adding water to it, it might be challenging compared to other jugs with a wider opening. Overall, I really like this water jug and it has all the things I want in a water container without the things I don’t at a decent price. Just be aware you might need to make some adjustments like me to use it to its full potential or remedy potential leaks. I read over reviews and was aware of this before purchasing it so it wasn’t much of a big deal for me, but because of that I can’t give it a 5/5 stars. Still a great water jug if you don’t mind making adjustments yourself.

This thing can withstand more abuse than my New Year’s resolutions. Now, let’s talk spigot. The flow control feature? Pure *magic*. I’ve never felt such power in my hands as I turned that spigot and watched the water flow out with the precision of a NASA launch. No sudden gushes. No awkward splashes. It’s like having a personal water fountain that’s always exactly what you need, when you need it. A true gift to humanity. But what really gets me is how I can now carry five gallons of water without feeling like I’m participating in an Olympic weightlifting event. It’s got the perfect balance of ruggedness and portability. You could take this to the wilderness and use it as a makeshift raft (probably, I haven’t tried it—but I’m *tempted*). In conclusion, if you need a water jug that will never fail you, keep your water in perfect flow, and probably be the most loyal friend you’ve ever had—buy this. Seriously. I’m about to order three more, because if this jug ever decides to retire, I’ll be ready for the emotional fallout.

Leaks. Will return if I can’t find an o ring to stop it. Air plug is annoying as others have said. I’ve had better luck with cheaper products from Walmart, but don’t want the hassle of returning if I can help it.

My husband owns a semi truck & uses clean water from this jug to wash his hands while working. It has a lever on the outlet to control the water flow. Big plus: it does not leak when stored on its side in a rough-riding truck. I would highly recommend.

The reason a got this water can, was to have a spigot that actually fitted the regular Scepter Jerry Water cans that i use a lot. And low and behold this spigot fits perfectly, does not leak and works as intended. I couldn't be happier. Even the price of this can is half way reasonable, compared to the vastly increased cost of the Jerry Cans that Scepter makes.
