Disappointed...Sorry!

I was disappointed by the lack of elaboration of the title. Don't look here for much insight into representations of sense material in film, or even very compelling metaphors. Regrettably, the remainder of this rather short book is retread of what you are likely to have read elsewhere.

This is a new topic for me,and for quality i cant be sure (in how many of the main structure of directing its cover)But for me, it was great , for exploring this are, for clarifying some things and imaginening how it's could be like at the base level without much details but of the book provided me.

A very interesting take on directing. It teaches you how to be a director instead of how to direct(althought there is a good bit of that in there). A good quick read, lots of examples and exercises to help you start thinking like a director.

Simone has written a very enjoyable and practical book, and he's an excellent instructor as well (I took 3 of his Directing and Producing classes).

The fact I don’t have to go to B&N and I can order it on the AP app is amazing. There’s just some books you don’t find in store anymore.

Catchy title. very generic information. Didn't really learn anything. After the filmmakers handbook this book seems like a waste. good for beginners I guess.

Good book

Very good read, easy to understand with recent (2017) examples and case studies.

Great tool for aspiring and beginning directors and filmmakers, as well as established directors that want to get back to basics.

He understands films and how to create films very well.

It's such a great and simple way to learn about filmmaking!
