Pricey? Yes. Durable? Yes. Traps dirt away from paintwork? Yes. Used mine for a year with the ONR 5L container, weekly washes - it’s now needed replacing - the ONR and the sponge. Definitely worth it over the 1 year of washing. No scratches.

Decent budget version of something like the DIY legacy sponge. Designed for rinseless washing but can be used with shampoo as well. Holds water well and stays clean when dunked into the bucket

It does a good job but it gets dirty which it is not supposed to! When yo do a rinse leas wash with it and dunk this in the bucket the cut ridges supposed to lose all the dirt and it is supposed to come out clean. Which is not the case! Now I am wondering how to clean it!

I use this for a rinseless wash and it performs admirably.

Very small but my husband seemed happy

Essentially its a normal sponge with a few cut marks on either side. It slightly helps with clearing mess off the car. It appears expensive to me.

Ich habe an frischem Plexiglas gerieben, keine Kratzer. So wird es auch auf der Packung beworben. Der Artikel ist platzsparend verpackt, Vakuum, in einer speziellen Tüte. Lässt sich problemlos regenerieren, mit Wasser geht es schneller. Am Besten aber schon vor der Fahrt zur Box auspacken. Könnte man sicherlich auch zum Polieren nehmen, für eine kleine Stelle. Für den Zweck wird man ihn aber nicht kaufen. Ich habe ihn für eine angedachte Grundreinigung bestellt, halte Waschhandschuhe für schonender. So ein Schwamm kann aber mehr Wasser mitbringen, und ist sicherlich die bessere Wahl, wenn man ohne Schlauch/Hochdruckreiniger wäscht. Das ist wohl mit "rinse free" auf der Packung gemeint.

Nice sponge which is indeed on the denser side - but I guess that just means it won't start to disintegrate after a handful of washes... I understand the theory that the grids help trap dirt - but whether it'll scratch will still depend the tenacity of your scrubbing... so I'm not completely sold on that claim... But in any case, it's still a decent sponge which should last quite a few washes.
