Melissa & Doug Rainbow Caterpillar Gear Toy with 6 Interchangeable Gears

Well-made, durable, colorful, fun, easy for little ones to turn the gears. The 15 month old I gave it to love objects that spin so this was an obvious choice. Melissa & Doug toys are a trusted, favorite go-to brand for me.

I love wooden toys and this one is nice. The plastic gears are a good size for little hands and colors are bright. They turn easily and smoothly. It’s good for color identification and hand-eye coordination. It is made well and will last for many more children. My 14 month old grand-daughter loves to watch the gears turn (she is still learning to do it herself)and then to pull them off. It is a good value.

This toy is amazing - my granddaughter and now my grandson loves it - so much fun! Well made!

The price and quality are a win for me! Just the cutest way to work with kids on colors, matching, sorting, etc. I’ll continue to look for and buy from this brand.

Love this toy! Great to work on colors, matching, and motor skills. I was a bit bummed to see that Hobby Lobby sells the SAME exact toy for half the price…

Bought this for my 9mo old gr-baby for Christmas. She loved it. She could turn and remove the gears easily. It kept her interest for a few minutes which is about what I expected. Fast forward 8mo and she is still fascinated by it. It’s fun to play with, very well made, the colors are bold and eye catching, and best of all, there is much to be learned from this little toy. Also, the price is fantastic for what you get. I expect she will play with it for a couple more years at least. Another big plus for me is that it isn’t digital. It has no screen or power supply. It doesn’t have lights or play music. It’s just an investigative and imaginative toy that will last for a long time. I highly recommend this toy for any young child.
