Chippy Chipmunk Parties in the Garden

The Chippy series is wonderful. Photos capture daily life and the stories are fantastic. We have two in the series and both are signed by Kathy Miller, that is a nice touch for sure!

Cute, colorful pictures in a book that contains interesting facts about chipmunks. A great way to teach children to observe and respect these little animals.

I had the pleasure of reading CHIPPY CHIPMUNK PARTIES IN THE GARDEN to my special needs classrooms this fall. The students of all ages loved the story and the photographs. Even the staff were sitting on the edge of their seats when the hawk appeared. All the elements of a great story were there for discussion and learning. The extra facts were interesting as well. In addition, I have sent numerous books to the children and grandchildren of my friends and family for Christmas. Honestly, I think the adults have enjoyed reading the story as much as the little ones have enjoyed hearing it. I am hoping Kathy has another story in the making for us!

This is the first of 3 Chippy Chipmunk books that the author wrote. Her photographs are outstanding, and the story is endearing and educational. I've bought 2 of these books for my grandchildren, and I highly recommend them. I read the books outloud to my husband, and while he laughed at first, he wanted to hear another one! I can't wait to read them to my grandchildren.

I've bought 3 of these books - for my grandchildren, and one for myself. I love the photographs and the simple story that shares the beauty of nature in a way that "children" of all ages would enjoy. I love butterflies, birds, cats, and nature in general, and this book has it all. I highly recommend this book and the other two Chippy Chipmunk books.

This is a delightful book, with beautiful photographs and a charming, whimsical story that even engages toddlers. I bought it for my 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it. A photo-illustrated story about a real chipmunk is fascinating to her. I've also purchased the second book in this series, Friends in the Garden, an equally wonderful storybook. This is a book to be treasured and passed down through generations.
