Stands up to rigorous use comfortably
I used this for 6 weeks while working in dense rainforest, and it performed excellently. Might I say much better than other's backpacks which were 3 times the price. Here are some key features I can think of:1) It's incredibly lightweight2) Despite this it is comfortable. It's held tight to the body with the straps, and even filled with maximum weight it doesn't strain your shoulders.3)Nothing broke. The zips never even got stuck and I crammed it full of stuff.4)It is actually pretty breathable on your back.5)It fits a 3L Camelpack and the clips for the tubing are secure.6)The side pockets are well elasticated so things don't fall out.7)The rain cover performs pretty well but let in a little water at the top (however I was in a rainforest so maybe an unfair test). The velcro straps on the rain cover needed a few extra stitches to be secure, but nothing a little superglue or a travel sewing kit couldn't fix.8) The material, although thin and light, is tough and stood up to thorns and rocks better than my clothes and skin.9) You can fit so much stuff in this, I usually had 3L water, first aid kit, food, spare clothes, camera, and room for some scientific equipment. And there's straps on the bottom to clip a raincoat/sleeping bag.10) It folds up small for travelI bought this bag last minute and didn't have high hopes for it, but it performed so well it's coming on all my future expeditions!

Great bag
Good large capacity bag. Light enough when not full, and as I got it to commute on ebike the weight is less of an issue that it would be. Found a cover tucked inside I didn't know it had after a couple of weeks. Not sure the cover is actually rain proof, but nice and bright, and keeps some spray off. Removable pocket on shoulder strap I thought was lame when I first saw it, but it's under your arm out the way when riding, and just first keys on small section, and glasses/ goggles (it's autumn) in the other. Bag easily fits in change of clothes, D lock, lunch, tablet, waterproofs, some tools, wallet, phone.

Be careful with the size you choose
SPGOOD Unisex Backpack, 30LThis review is based upon one month’s use for cycling.I cycle for exercise, which means I’m not concerned about the extra weight merely adds to the workout. I use a backpack to carry tools, extra clothing and food etc. and I found my last pack was stuffed to its limits and decided to replace it with something bigger.I went with the 30L SPgood as I wanted some future proofing capacity wise and who doesn’t like having an extra day pack for hiking? When I first wore the pack I was initially concerned because the fit felt odd, as in different from previous packs I’ve worn. However it felt much better once I was riding the bike, which is its stated purpose.I’ve been able to adjust the shoulder straps to fit my wide body just fine, but I’m certain the 30L size will be problematic for those narrower up top. Indeed I loaned the pack to my narrower brother and he found it impossible to make the shoulder straps stay in place, even with the chest strap fully tightened. So if you have a smaller frame I strongly suggest you avoid the larger 30L model. And the shoulder strap fit is really important on a pack made for cycling as having the waist belt set too tight can cause real issues breathing on a bike. Always keep the waist belt much looser than you would on a regular hiking pack waist belt to avoid constricting your diaphragm, you’ll breathe easier. As for being “breathable and comfortable,” it’s fine, nothing special. My back would still sweat if the pack were using some magical levitating technology. I find the solution to a sweaty back has always been a fresh base layer for the ride home; I’ve never expected a pack to stop me sweating.Overall quality seems solid, but it’s only been 4 weeks. Couple of things worth noting. The phone pouch is quite generous and easily holds my Galaxy 32 while enclosed in its wallet case and the smaller pocket on its front can hold house keys and spare camera batteries. However, the pouch itself it attached to the shoulder strap by nothing more than a couple of Velcro strips. This could easily be ripped from the shoulder strap either by catching on a tree branch or being snatched by an opportunistic thief. I know because I tested it, one good tug and the whole pouch can be torn free and there goes your phone and house keys.I also wouldn’t trust the pouch to be waterproof in heavy rain either, so keep that in mind. However the pouch not being permanently fixed to the shoulder strap means you can reposition it, which I did when I found my left knee striking the pouch occasionally. I moved it a couple of inches higher on the shoulder strap to remedy this and later hope to find a means of more securely attaching the pouch by using some small cable ties or something.Secondly, if you put anything of weight in the small pocket on the middle back of the packs exterior, pay close attention to the position of the pack’s main zippers. I finished a ride and discovered the pack was hanging wide open and if I’d had a full pack that day I’d certainly have lost items on the ride. The cause was the zipper tag positions being closed at the twelve o’ clock position. The weight in the exterior pocket during the ride worked open those zippers loose left and right, until the back flap eventually fell open.To avoid this happening, close both zipper tags down to the lower left and right - 9 or 3 o’clock positions - so that gravity cannot work them free. See attached photos for clarity. And that’s it. I haven’t used a drink bladder with the pack as I use bike bottles. I also haven’t used the rain cover but the pack is fine as is in average rainfall. It’s also worthwhile going through all the colour and size options as they’re often differently priced at different times, no doubt to shift less popular colours. I managed to buy my 30L pack for £10 less than other colours by spending some time doing this.Hope this answers someone’s questions about the pack.

Best bike backpack i have owned!
After deciding to get out on the bike again i needed a light weight and sturdy backpack.I ordered the SPGOOD bike backpack 20L and it arrived within a few days.Filled it with bike pump, innertube, bike tool kit,2 drinks bottles, adjustable bike spanner, gloves and a 1.4l sandwich box with still plenty of room left for extra items like a jacket etc.Phone went into its own holder along with vehicle keys in their own holder. What a joy to use on a 20 mile canal trip, felt no weight at all with the lovely shoulder padded straps and 2 front chest and under belly fasteners. The whole backpack felt sturdy and solid against my spine.I did experience a slight wet sweat patch at the middle of the backpack but i was in 20 degree heat and was still less sweat than any backpacks i have previously owned and used.I have not used the provided rain cover or the built in mesh helmet cover but feel that these are added bonuses that will be used. Also if required an hydration pack could be used and the clips and pipe holder seem a bonus.Overall i am totally happy with this small tardis of a backpack as you can see in the pictures and will look forward to continue using it and recommend it 101%

Ample room inside for my gym kit , 2 shakers , hydration tank , plus my really heavy dlock .Gym shoes .Great padding , loads of room . Love the zipped away helmet meshing . And great that it has the high viz night time / low daylight cover .You won’t find a better product on price , build quality and practicality !
