It happened on my first use. Other than that it is a great hoop. Just do not use it for more than one hour per session and only a few times a week. I injured my back by using it too much. Hula hooping is so much fun that you just get carried away lol. I have recently bought a light weight hoop in hopes that I can continue hooping frequently without worrying about injury. Also never favor one side when hooping, it will bite you in the ass.
