Very pretty set
Adorable set of cups and saucers. I like the wide shape of these cups. Easy to pour into and easy to drink from. They are thin enough to feel kind of fancy, but thick enough to not feel fragile. Each cup with it's matching saucer makes a really pretty addition to my kitchen. I might even drink more tea now.

Nice touch to a gathering
My daughter held a tea party for her daughter’s birthday. Amazing how the beautiful cups and saucers added a certain ambiance to the event. The formal table with three tiered trays of sandwiches, pastries, and sweets with the decorative cups made the luncheon memorable. What a joy!

Not porcelain
I don't understand why there are so many good reviews for these cups. Do people not know the difference between stoneware and porcelain? These cups and saucers are made from a rough, thick, greyish material that looks more like a stoneware. Yes they are if a nice color (outside). But porcelain is delicate, light, thin, purely white inside. Disappointed as after reading the reviews I thought it's real porcelain and got it as a gift for friends who were visiting for a short time. There was no time to return.
