I use this Takavu coffee grinder cleaning brush to clear excess grounds from my grinder and to clean up coffee that doesn’t make it into the portafilter. It’s also been useful for brushing out leftovers after grinding darker, oilier beans. The natural boar bristles are a standout feature. While I can’t independently verify the material, they feel authentic and noticeably more effective than plastic bristles. They’re firm enough to move stubborn grounds but still gentle on equipment. Like I stated earlier, the brush handled oily beans very well and made quick work of cleaning the grinder without making the situation worse. The wooden handle is comfortable and well finished. It’s not a dense hardwood, but it still feels solid and appropriate for daily use. The brush is slightly larger than some coffee-specific brushes, which actually makes it easier to clean larger surfaces and components efficiently. There are no real downsides to note. It works exactly as intended and feels durable enough for regular use. This is a great tool for coffee lovers who want to keep their equipment clean, but it’s also useful for anyone who needs a reliable brush for cleaning small components or devices. This Is such a nice boar’s hair coffee grinder cleaning brush! Too many uses to list! The length of the actual bristles is around 1.5 inches and 1 inch wide. I chose the version with the black boar’s hair bristles. This brush reaches down into my coffee grinder easily to remove excess and trapped grounds. I like that it is engraved with the company logo along the dark wooden handle. Plus there is a little leather strap on the end. It’s a very sturdy little brush with a metal crimp ring and easy to grip wooden handle. I honestly use this brush during so many steps of my espresso preparation because I tend to be a messy barista! I found this brush to be great for guiding my grounds into the portafilter (with funnel on top). I then use it to clean off the ears before placing it into my espresso machine. I also use it to sweep extra grounds off of my storage box and the counter. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without this little brush, because It just makes my life so much easier when preparing espresso. The way I clean it is I just rub it briskly on my palm over a container and honestly that’s about all it needs. So really, cleaning it is just a breeze! I use it just about every day and it holds up to a lot of use! The bristles stay stiff and straight! I think this boar’s hair coffee grinder cleaning brush is a great value for the money and I would buy this brand again!

Nicely made, does the job.

I purchased the Takavu Coffee Grinder Cleaning Brush specifically for cleaning my Fellow Opus (2nd generation) grinder, and it’s been an excellent tool for the job. The bristle firmness is just right—not overly soft, which allows for effective removal of fine coffee grounds, but still gentle enough to avoid scratching sensitive components. It works well around the burrs, dosing cup, and other hard-to-reach areas. Build quality is solid and purposeful. The brush feels durable in hand, and the black boar bristles hold their shape well after repeated use. For those who value keeping their grinder in top condition, especially with more refined equipment like the Opus, this brush is a simple yet high-quality addition to your coffee toolkit. Very satisfied.

The build and assembly looks great. The solid wood handle feels solid in your hands. The bristle material used feels like cheap nylon similar to a toothbrush, not a quality fiber like used in paint brushes or better cleaning brushes. Overall not impressed although it works. My brush that came with the grinder was far superior.

This brush has been fantastic for cleaning my various coffee devices, mostly my Grinder. I have a Baratza Encore grinder and getting down into the attached burr for cleaning is a pain without a nice, stiff brush to get in there and remove residue and brush. It is the perfect size, shape, and stiffness for removing coffee grounds without getting stuck on anything. I've been using it frequently since I got it and I haven't noticed any bristles falling out or breaking during my use.

This brush works great to clean the coffee grinder. Very happy.

It’s too thick to fit inside the body of my hand grinder, but that’s not the fault of the brush :) I should’ve checked the measurements.
