I've had a Foodsaver for many years, but over the last year or so the vacuum has been unsatisfactory. Just wasn't giving me the air removal I wanted. So, I looked on Amazon, checked out several recommendations online and stewed about it. Finally decided to try this Gasbye vacuum sealer. Just got it today, so we'll see how it lasts. But I'm really impressed with it so far. I like the locking handle and it's giving me the air removal/seal I was looking for. I like that they include replacement seals in the box as that may have been the problem my Foodsaver developed (or the vacuum motor just was failing). I held off getting a new vacuum sealer because most (if not all) of the ones with good reviews had the bag roll storage built in & I felt that would make the machine too big for my counter top. I was pleasantly surprised to find this one took up the same amount of space as my old Foodsaver. Which didn't have this storage area! I'm really impressed so far and would recommend it if you're looking for a machine with a strong vacuum, multiple options (but easy to understand) and at a comparatively good price point. Also, read the included owners manual. The company offers an extended warranty at no added cost if you just follow their directions & contact them!

I received this vacuum sealer yesterday and have already used it to seal ribeye steaks. Although I can’t tell you about longevity I can tell you it worked very well. It has a solid feel to it and plenty of vacuum power. It is easy to use and the double seal is awesome. The customer service also seems wonderful. Amy from support contacted me to see if I was happy with my purchase. It’s very rare to get good customers service nowadays. I am happy with my purchase and recommend this product to anyone looking for a vacuum sealer.

I usually don't do many reviews, but I will on this product. We had our old vacuum seal decided not to do anything one day. Which was okay, great anyway. Wasn't that great anyway. Went shopping, found nothing we wanted, so we looked on Amazon, so many, so expensive. Found this Gasbye and had everything we wanted, and at a reasonable price. We started using it right away. Easy to set up. Easy to seal. Love the double seal, and the vacuum is a lot better than what we had. Large or small works great. I want to mention a 5-year warranty and a SPECIAL THANK YOU to AMY at customer support for so many tips and the warranty. Very Happy.

Bought to bring to Baja for bagging filleted fish fresh for the cooler - I ran it off the 400w power source in the bed of my truck. Worked perfectly, even in a camping environment. Suction is strong, the double seal function is nice but even the single-seal is liquid-tight and solid. I felt very confident offroading for 2 days with fish in the cooler, keeping it fresh and separate from the rest of our food! I registered the 5 year warranty and got a string of personal and helpful emails from Amy at Gasbye, their customer service seems to be top-notch. Very impressed overall with this product. Small, lighweight, and rugged enough for camping and outdoor use but I bet will get a lot of use in the home kitchen as well. I used it to seal some nuts I had air drying in the kitchen upon returning home and it removed so much air they feel like a brick!

Very simple to use! Small enough to store in my cabinets. The double seal and single seal work great. I’ve sealed 20lbs of ribeye steaks and 6lbs of ground beef with zero issues. I like how it comes with a replacement gasket just in case. Read the manual and you should be good to go!

Doing exactly what we want it for, we use it for cutting up our meat when we get it and seal it up in precut prepackaged packages. Makes it easier for dinners when you can just grab what you need and move on. Seals well and no issues as we have already gone through all the bags that it came with. No issues with any of the bags that come with it, Hoping keeps working well but for now definitely recommend.

I've never had a vacuum sealer before, and when I decided to get one, I researched online and compared the ones that came up most often in the articles about vacuum sealers. The Gasbye wasn't among the ones that articles mentioned as being the best ones to buy, although when I compared them all, Gasbye was the clear frontrunner as far as what you got in the way of features. Then I looked at reviews. Others had thousands of reviews and the Gasbye had hundreds. Surely the ones with thousands of reviews would be better, I thought. Then my husband mentioned that in statistics, the sample size doesn't necessarily mean larger is better. So I went with my instincts and got the Gasbye because of its price, the features, and guaranteed return if not satisfied, as well as the 5-year warranty. Even though I hadn't used a vacuum sealer before, I was well aware of common problems with them from reading reviews. The Gasbye didn't have any of them. As far as I'm concerned, I got the best one on the market. It is super easy to use, and for the price, the quality is fantastic. It has a good seal, and you can control the suction power according to the type of food you are sealing. You can stop and start the sealing process whenever you want. One complaint about all vacuum sealers is trying to seal something liquid. That problem is solved by putting the item in the freezer until it's frozen just enough that the liquid solidifies. I just love that I have a whole freezer full of cooked chicken in sauce in portions that last for three or four meals. The bags are great, thick enough so they don't puncture when I seal something with a sharp edge. One last thing I'll say about Gasbye is that their customer service is the best! I was in the process of moving shortly after I got my machine. I wanted to pack it in its original box to keep it secure on the trip but I wasn't sure how it was packaged when I had first received it. I emailed the company and there was an exchange of quite a few emails. The person I was corresponding with was so patient about answering all of my questions. She would clarify where needed, or send a screenshot to illustrate how to do something, until I felt confident that I could package it properly for the move. I'm really happy with this machine and the company that makes it. They want you to be happy with their product, and it shows in their business ethic, from customer service to warranty and everything in between.
