Well the mounting was so easy I felt like I must have missed something lol. It looks great! Not an eye sore whatsoever, I think it actually looks sleek. As far as the magnet 🧲, I seriously have bought so many different brands n types!!! This one was gonna be my last attempt at car phone holders! And it is but not in the way I expected lol… I don’t have to look anymore vs it didn’t work. The strength of magnet wasn’t over sold! I was thinking ya but add the case and it’s gonna weigh too much for magnet. Nope strong as can be with case even. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I'm REALLY impressed with how thorough this product is, including everything you're likely to need to attach this to your car, a power source, and your phone or phone case. It includes two different mounts that attach with a common ball joint to the back of the phone mounting disc, one to clip onto your car's dashboard air vent and the other with a heavy-duty adhesive to attach to the dashboard itself. They even provide a cleaning wipe so you can clean any dust or oils off the dashboard first, to get better adhesion.Also included in the package is a magnet ring you can attach to the back of your phone or to your phone case, along with a printed guide to help you align the ring exactly where it should be to mimic the MagSafe feature of recent iPhone models. I don't need this right now, but I found this sort of accessory very handy when I had a non-MagSafe-compatible phone case.They provide a simple car "cigarette lighter" (now usually just an accessory port with no lighter capability) adapter that you can plug into your car if you don't already have USB ports, and it has both USB-A and USB-C ports for flexibility -- and so you can plug in a second device if your passenger needs to charge too.The included power cable is USB-A to USB-C, and I'm skeptical that you're getting a "fast charge" capability through the USB-A connector. Over the last few days of using this, I'm mostly finding that my iPhone doesn't DRAIN while it's connected to this in the car, but it's not really gaining much charge, either. Of course, it's actively doing Wireless CarPlay and running Waze at all times while in the car, so it's GOOD that at least it's not draining.I wanted to use the vent mount to attach this to my car's air vent under the car's video display, which is where I had my last MagSafe mount. Unfortunately, like Niko, I found that the vertical "fins" on this mount are too tall, as you can see in the close-up, and prevent the vent mount from getting all the way around the horizontal "fin" of the vent in my Toyota. As a result, it seems to hold for a little while, but can keep falling off. I don't know why this vertical piece needs to be so tall.It turns out that the vent mount that was on the old Belkin charger that stopped working has the same style of ball joint, and fits just fine in this Beser product. With the old vent mount, the Beser now fits securely in my car and doesn't fall off.The vent mount not fitting securely on my Toyota RAV4 vent is really the only thing that's costing the product a fifth star. Everything else seems SO well thought out. The magnet definitely holds the phone itself securely.

As soon as you see the box you get the feeling of a quality product that is going to exceed expectations and it doesn’t end there.The packaging is really impressive as far as quality, presentation, and protection of the included items.The fold out manual while bigger than most product manuals, is made of card stock so it would assumably last longer. I do have one gripe about the instructions and packaging but I’ll put that at the end.I’ve never seen the previous generation of Beser charger adapters, but this third generation has a solid and quality build to it. It comes with a bunch of versatile mounting accessories.It securely holds my iPhone 13 mini and my wife’s iPhone 13, with no worries about it prematurely coming loose.With multiple charging tests, it does a great job. But if you don’t use the provided MagSafe ring, you’ll want to make sure you have a MagSafe case.From additional testing after I identified my gripe below, I checked and the adapter only appears to provide charging functions even when plugged directly into a Linux PC at least.I think it’s a really great option to mount, charge a second phone in the car and easily be able to grab it and use it or go.Now my gripe about the instructions and packaging, I’m not taking a star off because it doesn’t deal with the product functioning. Might just be poor release or quality control.There are QR codes all everywhere, which would be great, but hovering over them shows some strange web domain (see photo). Now this in of itself wouldn’t seem necessarily bad to some but it doesn’t come close to any web domain or word on the packaging, or Beser or the backend company.The worst part is it links to a website that doesn’t even translate to other languages based on my testing.So outside of potential security concerns, it won’t help a ton of buyers anyway being they can’t use it and it kinda shows lack of attention to detail in a way.That being said at the date of my review (22JUN24), it didn’t come back malicious in anyway via multiple domain and URL scanning tools. And nothing funky appears to occur with the charger itself at the moment. Still wouldn’t recommend using the QR codes until they are changed just incase.

Ooo Chile, this magnet is strong! I’ve tried countless phone mounts—automatic release ones that always fell out, manual ones where the phone would shift and drop—but the MagSafe has been a game-changer. Let’s just say this baby has not moved at all in the last 53 days of use! It has not moved! At, all!

nice led light. but its not static. its blinking and makes driving distraction at night.
