I am really pleasantly surprised by this machine. I’ve been thinking about getting a heat press for a while and finally bit the bullet - so glad I did because this machine couldn’t be easier to use. Literally plug it in, set the temperature and press. I’ve already made loads of canvas bags for a hen party, and know this is going to get used loads in the run up to Christmas for personalised gifts! Feels like good quality, and at a good price too. Tempted by their mug press too!

OK so I must admit, when I ordered this for free for review and test I mistakenly thought it was an iron press! This is NOT an iron press… of course it isnt. Its a t shirt printer and in many ways thats much better (I never iron anyway)It has meant my review had to wait a little while though as I researched how these things work and what was needed.You’ll need to order your tshirts, press sheets and vinyls and I cant help but feel a few freebie ones thrown in for testing would have been nice but alas… it doesnt.Instructions can be daunting but are really quite easy and the screen has all the details displayed for printing, from the time, heat and pressure.Its a bit of a large machine though so be aware of that and have a place to store. Its incredibly well made and the results are fantastic. I have my own business so the ability to make tshirts with my logo on is amazing! Great machine and highly recommended!

This is just the heat press used in t shirting or fabric printing - think of it as a giant iron for pressing large designs onto t shirts.I've used a similar one before but as a flat bed press and not a hand held one. This is more aimed at hobby or start up market so it doesn't take up much space and is easier to store.It heats up well although I've only tested it on a small area using some teflon baking sheets I had underneath (because this machine doesn't come with any of the press sheets you need or the vinyl of course)It doesn't claim to be anymore more than a heat press machine so don't expect it to be a full printing kit.Although this works great and does what it says, I can't see the value in comparison to the cost of a full heat press machine. It is a bit cheaper and I think it's more that it can be packed away easily is the appeal.

"LOKLIK Impress Easy - T-Shirt Printing Machine for Sublimation Printing........" is, I suppose, technically accurate, but to a neophyte like me it is misleading. I thought I was getting a machiine that would print on T-shirts.Indeed, that is what I received. What I didn't understand is that this machine performs the very last step in a process which requires a great deal more investment. This "T-Shirt Printing Machine" is in actual fact a very large iron. There is a large stainless steel plate on the underside. This is heated and I am supposed to press it down on the T-shirt.Various printing mediums, not provided, must be cut or printed using other machine and placed on the T-0shirt. These coulld be vinyls, sublimation papers etc..In detail, the T shirt is first placed on an insulating base, not provided. Then the transfer medium is placed in position on the T shirt. Then the Teflon sheet, not provided, is placed over everything. Having selected the correct heat and time for the particular medium the printer is manually placed on the Teflon and pressed down by hand while the timer counts down from the value you have set.On the plus side, the instruction manual is very clear and as a bonus a large drawstring bag is provided for storage of the so called "printer."On the minus side this is not a printer at all but a very large iron. Also, where is the insulating pad and the Teflon sheet both of which are integral parts of the heating and pressure process.My mistake was in ordering something which does not do what I thought it would. It does not cause me to mark down this product, Despite my irritation at being so foolish. I still think the advertising is misleading. However, I have deducted two stars because now I understand the process I am concerned that there is no insulation pad and no Teflon sheet. Both are essential for "printing."

Price at review: £288.99This is a really great heat press. It works well for vinyl and sublimation type printing.Simply place your item on the slide out tray with built in back board, cover with the supplied sheet and then slide in till it clicks and press the Go button and it presses at the exact heat for the exact amount of time and then automatically retracts and you slide out.It is so easy to use and allows for quite a rapid turn-around of repeated prints for professional use or just that perfect precision for hobbyist use.It is very solid and wont slide around during use. The temperature seems accurate to me and the controls are very well laid out.The manual is also easy to read and understand. Nice bit of kit. Recommended.

Press didn’t work straight out box sent back waited nearly a month for refund

The best thing I have owned for a very long time. The transfer machine can make the best use of plain t shirts by applying transfers with absolute professional clarity.It is essential that when applying transfers the correct heat and conditions such as humidity are all perfect and perfectly even over the whole surface area. This is an amazing machine.The settings are easy to follow and the machine really does do all the work on your behalf.If you have a vinyl transfer cutting machine also then you will be able to make any design you like.Brilliant and loads of fun.
