As a 63 year-old male, I am grateful for all the positive reviews from people with lots of experience with skin-care products, which led me to purchase this. Despite suggestions by my wife, I've never adopted a cream-based skincare regime, and I got this for the sun blocking properties. But I'll say this: It feels good on my skin. After a bad experience with an expensive Australian zinc-based sunblock, which involved a severe sunburn on both my legs and feet, I've avoided the mineral products and stayed with the toxic old-school sunblocks. At least those prevented sunburn on day-long outdoor adventures and field work. They didn't feel comfortable on the skin though, and it was always a relief to wash off the residue at the end of the day. And they are reportedly carcinogenic. Ten years later, I thought I'd give this one a try on the assumption that the industry had progressed its product in the interim. Well it seems it has. This is the best overall sunblock I have used. For point of nose, lips, ears, I still use the Zinc Stick, which I first used spring skiing in Australia back in the 1980s and swear by. But for larger skin areas the MyChelle product works well, it comes in a tube that will last me a full season, and as I said above, it feels like its helpful not harmful to my skin.

Adds lots of moisture and blocks mostly with zinc oxide. I like it. Nice smell, a tad oily but over all nice. I would not wear and then go in a natural body of water as it would probably come onto and into the water and harm the animals.

I love this for my neck and chest - I am outside for several hours a day and this is very moisturizing as well as a good block.

Not totally completely comfortable with sunscreen in humid NC but this stuff feels and smells more like an expensive moisturizer. It is a mineral sunscreen so there is a slight white cast even with the tint but it does disappear if you wait before applying makeup. I really like it and appreciate the 50 spf.

New reformulation includes nasty-colored tinting. Bring back the plain white that I can cover with make up as I wish!

Ordered this because it was recommended for acne prone skin and for it's reef safe qualities. I like that it is fragrance free, that it spreads mat instead of the sticky feeling of many "chemical" sunscreens that I have bought from the pharmacy and that it is a slightly bigger tube then many other natural mineral sunscreens, so it makes me feel free to use it as mush as I need for the body everyday. I believe it works fine but as I use it everyday to work etc. it stains my activity tracker, my backpack and insides of the car even! Still I prefer this for its many good qualities. Do not recommend for very dry skin as this dries mat!

I like how it provides great sun protection and moisturizes the skin. I always apply to the tops of my hands before driving for extra protection from sun spots. It is a great value because a little goes a long way.

Although this sunscreen is extremely good and contains less harmful products there’s one thing in particular I don’t love, how it leaves a white cast, most mineral sunscreens do and I wished this one didn’t but it does, so if you aren’t a fan of a white cast I would consider rethinking this purchased, again this is the only bad thing about it so it isn’t a horrendous purchase.
