Boston Ivy Plant - Parthenocissus ticuspidata Veitchii - 2.5" Pot

Received a sad looking twig. Paid way too much for a twig. Not sure it will grow.

All the plants that I have purchased from Hirt's Gardens arrive nicely and neatly packaged, and very healthy. If you are considering buying real plants from anyone, this is the place to get healthily viable plants. I wouldn't consider purchasing from anyone else but Hirt's Gardens. You can't beat the prices and the prompt delivery.

The packaging was horrible, plants messed up, the plants were dry all the ground fell out in the shipping box. I would never buy plants from this seller again. They are more expensive than in a store like Lowe's

I ended up buying six of these plants. Three of the 4" and and three of 2.5" plants, when all of the previous plants died. I'm not sure if it was my fault or bad plants, but of all six, one one grew. But that plant sure did grow. There was virtually no growth the first season (2015) and I thought I had lost all three again, but to my delight, this year (2016) it not only had survived the winter, but grew tremendously throughout the season. It has almost reached the top of the wall. It even branched out into two arms. It probably grew 8 feet from spring until now (October).So it is hard for me to give a black and white review. Only 1/6 plants lived, but the one that did live is thriving.

Received my plant well packaged.very small as expected, but healthy plant, I noticed mine had two rooted plants so I separated them to plant in different locations, it seems like it's working, I keep them moist, with the help of the rain, they are both doing good, still tiny, but we r still in May so they have the whole summer to grow. I believe it will grow just fine cause both plants look like they have settled, it's been two weeks now since I planted them, can't wait to see big leaves.

Received 4 of these and the other customer pictures match mine. Shipping wasn't great - they had taped over the containers to try to contain dirt. This sort of worked - but upon opening there was dirty falling out of the box everywhere. They were otherwise just loose in the box with packing peanuts - not bagged or held in place in any way. So they were just rolling around in there and I'm pretty amazed they looked as good as they did. I let mine settle for about a week before I planted them in hopes of reducing shock. So far they seem good and ultimately I would buy from them again. Also for the price if I lost one or two it wouldn't be a big deal to replace them.

One of the plants died all ready and the other is very slow growing, I think the second one will make it with a lot of care.Was not worth the money I paid for them. Jack

It might make it over the night. Spent less money on a healthier vine in my local town
