Damtuh Instant Sweet Potato Latte + Multi Grain Mix 12 Count (Pack of 2) - Coffeine Free Meal Coffee Replacement

I recently saw Jungkook from BTS order one of these drinks on his travel show. I really wanted to try a version (he was in an actual shop) so I took to Amazon and found this version! I am so glad that I ordered it too. Very smooth yet creamy, light yet filling and I now drink this in the morning as a breakfast. It seems to give me energy (no caffeine) but it I'd an oat drink, so I figure that is where the energy boost is coming from. I highly recommend. Oh you can make this by simply adding water or milk. I myself like it with milk, so I put both in a blender for about 30 to 45 seconds and then pour over crushed ice. Can be served hot or cold, you will not mix well if cold though with just a spoon. So a hand mixer type gadget or a blender needed if cold.

I hate coffee. Always have, always will. I went to South Korea on a visit to a dear friend a few years ago, though, and they practically live on this stuff there. While I vastly prefer the sweet potato tea (purple) also available by this brand, this is the only coffee I will drink. The coffee flavor is mild, and the tea itself is very slightly sweet. When I found it on Amazon I snapped it up and tried it again, and it's as mild and inoffensive as I remember. It's also quite filling and kind of counts as a vegetable...ish? In my opinion, it's a decent coffee substitute with a good taste that reminded me of a pleasant trip. (Though you really should try the sweet potato tea...it's fabulous.)

It tastes great either way but tastes much better with milk instead of water. Since I am dairy free, I used my Califia Farms barista blend oat milk. Sometimes I’ll also add a teaspoon of pumpkin spice mix. I love it when I feel like a latte in the afternoon when I can’t handle caffeine.

The product is accurate and gets the job done. I just didnt anticipate disliking a sweet potato-flavired drink when I like sweet potatoes! I think most people who enjoy sweet potato will love this, and believe I am an exception to this rule since my brain keeps going "why isnt it the texture of a potato? Why is the sweet potato a drink?"Do recommend for anyone looking for a good non-coffee morning beverage or a light meal if they have stomachs that cant handle heavy foods in the morning. That's what I bought it for, and it works. I just wish I liked the flavor - which is quite nice - but my brain cant get over the lack of potato texture. Alas.

The potato flavor is strong and good. But I find if I use the whole sachet, it has this overwhelming soapy taste. So, I use no more than half the sachet, because the flavor is strong, so you can stretch it, and I supplement it with half and half or creamer.I probably won't buy again. I just wanted to try it.Btw the serving suggestion is very wrong. It says 4 sachets are a serving. That's ridiculous. I shop from Weee! a lot, so that's actually typical of Korean nutrition labels that have been converted to English. Even 1 sachet is too much. Half is perfect.

I love this flavor and I love that it doesn't need a lot of sugar. If you like unique flavors and easily made drinks then you'll love this.

This does not resemble the sweet potato lattes from Seoul. It has a terrible after taste that I can’t figure out what it is. I mix it with another Korean coffee mix that is super sweet in order to mask the weird taste. I will not buy this product again.
