Further, the three lines on the side are very useful as they mark (respectively) 90cl, 1l and 2 pints. If making yoghurt from another yoghurt you need to pour the milk up to the first line, if making it from ferments, to the second. I am so happy with them and they are so useful (also not bad to look at) that I bought two of these bowls. One thing to be wary of: the weight of the bowls can vary quite a bit. Mine are about 1150g, which is fine. I had one which arrived broken and it weighed 1350g, so about 15-20% more. When full it makes a difference. So if your bowl feels a bit heavy, weigh it! We make a lot a pancakes and Yorkshire puds & this makes pouring the mixture very easy, no drips! It's large enough to whip up muffins and small cake mixtures in. The pretty teal colour adds an element of joy. I got the matching medium spatula as well which just seems to work very efficiently.
