There's no scent, which I always appreciate! On my scalp, it helps loosen buildup and reduce dandruff by exfoliating away dead skin. To be honest, this is really what I bought it for. The pointed applicator tip makes it much easier to apply directly along part lines, which is a huge plus. It feels targeted instead of messy. This is a strong exfoliating solution, so it’s not something I use daily. It contains a high concentration of exfoliants, so patch testing is important, and sunscreen is a must if you’re using it on your face. It can tingle, especially if your skin barrier is not in great shape. :( One thing I love about this product is that the bottle is GIGANTIC. I use a little at a time, so I know one bottle is going to last me years, likely. It's also relatively cheap, like most the ordinary products are, so unlike pricier brands, I don't have to try and ration it :P Overall, it’s an effective resurfacing product with noticeable results, just use thoughtfully and don’t overdo it.
