this led bulb fits my lazer star billet signal housing perfect. other led bulb was 5mmtoo long. very bright for dual functionsignal usage!

Bright 12V MR16 warm white floodlights
I ordered these to replace LED bulbs in some of our landscape lights that had gradually dimmed over the years. These new bulbs are much brighter, and the light has a wide disbursement. The test I do is hold it centrally located above a standard sheet of paper, and find the height that still fully illuminates the top and bottom borders of the sheet. In this case that was about 3”, which gives an angle of 61 degrees on each side, or a disbursement angle of 122 degrees.Current draw at 12.0VDC was 400mA, or 4.8W, which is higher than the quoted 4W. That was a little unusual because most of the 12V LED lights I have tested pulled less than the quoted wattage. These pulled a bit less at 300mA when tested with 12.0VAC, or 3.6W. A different MR16 bulb I tested recently pulled 345mA at 12.0VDC, but just 180mA at 12.0VAC. That one was quoted as a 5W bulb, but it only pulled 2.16W when running on AC, and the drop in brightness was noticeable. Even though these consumed a bit less on AC, the brightness was about the same.These bulbs are warm white at 2700K. I don’t have an instrument to measure color temperature, but an A-B comparison with a 40W MR16 halogen bulb showed these are slightly more yellow. Brightness was similar at a tenth the power. So these are great replacements for 40W MR16 halogen bulbs if you want a slightly warmer light – more like a standard incandescent bulb.
