Perfect
This fan fits my MSI GE62 apache pro perfectly. My old fan was making a terrible noise and when removed barely spun. This one works great. I had no idea how much air was supposed to be coming out of the exhaust! The big hairball in between the fan and rear heatsink could've had something to do with that too..... All in all if my other fan starts acting up I won't hesitate to purchase the same fan for the other side.

Simple to install, well at least once you get to the old one LOL. Recommend this replacement fan!

May or May Not Work
This 3-wire didn't work to replace my 4-wire, but that might just be me personally. The wire for PWM fans that this one doesn't have happened to be the 2nd or 3rd pin so I couldn't align this 3-wire in a way to work properly.

fan is underpowered
The installation was easy (thanks MSI!) but the fan part on this page is 0.4A whereas the fan it replaces is 0.55A so you're missing about 25% of the potential power that the replacement fan should have.

Good replacement for Original Fan
I have replaced my original fan after 5 years of use. The new fan fit perfectly and now works perfectly and silently. The only issue is they can't reach 6000rpm like the OEM fans only 5500rpm. But it does its job. Comes with thermal paste but I used higher quality thermal paste I had.

Exactly right for my GE62 2QF
Installed in a MSI GE62 2QF Apache Pro. This GPU fan was exactly like the factory fan, and replaced nicely. Is working fine for now. It's just been in and working for a few hours so I can't speak to longevity, but so far so good.
