Modern hardware
Works great on a solid floor, does not work on carpet. Need a solid stud or header to mount to though.

Not impressed at all.
These were so poorly packaged it's a wonder anything made it to us at all. I really liked the concept and was looking forward to seeing how these worked. Unfortunately the package arrived with only the main sliding rails in the box. Everything else had fallen out during transport, or had never been packaged in the first place. It's a shame to have a unique design and concept, and then not follow through in getting the items to the customer to be able to use them.

Horrible instructions, impossible to install
I am calling BS on the prior two reviews re this being easy etc. As a guy who rebuilds cars, motorcycles, and does many house projects in my spare time (pretty darn handy), I was not able to get the wheels to fit/work inside the track. So I hired someone and it completely stumped them too. If it is possible the instructions don't make it easy... Returning...

Decent kit but experience needed.
This was my second barn door. The kit had pretty much everything I needed. One note I did not use any of the tools supplied. I generally never do as they are not designed to last and many will strip out screws, nuts, and bolts easily. The instructions were probably the worst I have seen. Since this was the second one I had a great great grasp already of how it went otherwise this would be a huge pain to put together. If you are a beginner then make sure to take your time, watch a video or two and lay everything out before you begin to assemble or even drill. That being said the materials are decent not great and look to be about mid level in quality. The price is not bad. I think if the instructions were better and more detailed this would get more stars.
