Excellent radio for the $
The radio is well built and seems to work great. Haven't had any issues and was easily programmed. It's a good radio with a decent price tag for what it is and I'm very satisfied. I added the remote head mount so I could keep it kinda out of sight. Highly recommend this radio and it won't disappoint.

Nice compact starter radio
Nice radio. Lots of settings I'll never use. It can handle a headset if you make an interface box that plugs into the rj49.

Does what it says. No questions asked.
Radio is great in terms of reliability, ease of use. Programming is a little quirky at first but you can quickly get used to the controls. At 25 watts, it has performed well with a 12v plug adapter. I have it paired with a Nagoya UT-72 and my only complaint is that it does let in a bit of front-end noise that other radios don’t.

Radiodity DB50
Absolutely happy with this radio, transmits and receives well across all bands it covers to include GMRS. Easily programs using CHIRP once you download the drivers. Highly recommend this radio!

ham radio
This is really a nice heavy-duty unit that works well. Only difficulty I would say is with the programming software, but you can figure it out.

Nice unit, but two serious issues
I really wanted to like (and keep) this radio. Transmissions and receiving were very good and clear. But, this unit had two issues that required I return the unit: 1) Although it offered 700+ channels, it would only accept programming on 30 of the channels. 2) Although it offered 50 watts of power, no matter what I did, it would only provide 5 watts of power.

Great radio - RECOMMENDED!
Thus far I've been very satisfied with my db50. The only negative comment I would have is with regard to the knobs used for tuning the vfos. When I first received the unit these knobs were incredibly stiff and difficult to turn. I actually got a blister on my finger trying to break the knobs in. I finally had to resort to putting on a pair of gloves. All that's behind me now and the knobs are fully broken in and function great. The break-in period is a bit difficult though I will confess. Otherwise the radio is excellent all the signal reports I've received have been top notch.
