Salmon is soooo good for you, and it is easy to get enough of it if you buy these pouches. They're great! Nice, flavorful salmon that you can eat straight out of the pouch or use in infinite ways. What I used them for: tossing them in with scrambled eggs, dill, and some salt with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. This 'salmon scramble' lunch is great to pack up and reheat at work (the eggs mask the fishy-while-microwaving smell), especially with a tab of butter melted on top.

This makes an awesome "dynamite" (sushi style) salmon salad, which is great as a sandwich or on crackers. I love adding eel sauce and spice mayo to this, with some furikake to make a sushi inspired salad. I don't really measure anything, just adjust it how you like it. I mix my own spicy mayo so I can get the spice level where I want it. This also tastes good with avocado. There's a lot in each packet, so it makes at least 2 servings. I have ordered this many times. This last order seems to have more water in it and the water smells VERY fishy , but once you pour out the water the salmon is fine, sometimes I leave it in and just add a couple of crushed up Ritz crackers to soak up the excess liquid, because somewhere in the back of my mind I have convinced myself that the water has vitamins in it...LOL. So, far the funky liquid hasn't made my sweat smell fishy the way sardines can (if you've ever eaten sardines for any length of time you know that "old man" smell I am talking about). One of the reasons I buy pouch salmon is to not have to deal with bones, skin, or excess water, so I hope they stop adding so much water or I will have to find a different product. Other than that it's a wonderful product.

Great salmon package for lunch, on the go, and kids snack. We keep these at home for easy access but they are also great for lunch since you don’t need a can opener for them. I also like that they don’t have extra liquid in them and don’t make a mess. It smells like salmon but not as strong as other version. The texture is perfect and it does not come with chunky bones. I like the option to have salmon since it is healthier for the kids as opposed to tuna.

Little on the salty side and somewhat mushy but good salmon flavor.

Great item for healthy eating. Love on scrambled eggs. Make into a salmon salad same as chicken salad. Tasty and healthy spread.

Really nice pouched salmon, especially for a good price. I mixed this in with my pup's kibble for his birthday and then on Thanksgiving. I have one more pouch hidden away for Christmas (shhh, don't tell him) and he'll be just as happy as the first time I gave him some. He loved it so much he tried to muscle the trash can open to find the pouch, luckily I have demon dog proof cans. Nice and moist, no bones, nice texture, easy to open and use, didn't smell all fishy in my kitchen after opening which I loved since I'm not much for sea food but my Elkhound is a different story. This is on his wishlist for every special occasion now.

It's too bland to eat right out of the pouch. But add lemon vinaigrette, diced red onion, capers, some pickling liquid from the capers jar, and some slivered or sliced almonds, and you have a great salad, with more potassium than most of us eat in a day. The salmon itself is really dense, so you have to add a LOT of other ingredients to get a good balance.

Fresh, good tasting Great quality. Just right and perfect for a snack. Pouch was filled. Not much water at all. Everything arrived in good condition. I will buy again.
