Great controller for the price
I was building a new computer and while it had a fan controller in the new case, there was still not enough headers. So I went with this to add to the existing controller. I don't use HDD's so the case had a spot I could slide this one and it fit perfectly. Very compact and let tons of ports. Didn't even use half of the ports due to the second controller but this one looks great too. With my case being perforated you can see thru the bottom and see the RGB of this controller and I love that. Can't see it all and the rats nest of case fan cables, but you get that glow coming thru. Have to say, for the price this was a great purchase. Build quality seems good. I guess only time will tell. But also love the magnetic base. Helps hold it in the HDD spot I chose to hide it in. It works with SignalRGB via the Mobo ARGB header so functions perfectly via software though could use the remote if I wanted more basic lighting. Compatibility wise I don't know if it's compatible with Mobos that have a 4 pin header but it does work with the 3 pin. Overall great ARGB and fan controller.

I have three, and i want to replace all three!
I now have three of these devices in my collection and in use. And all three perform somewhat different. Which leaves me to the 1 star i am posting. The first in black, works the best that i got a while back. And lead me to buy two more. It works well enough that I have it driving a bunch of fans in a black NAS i built. The color is fine, but the remote can be twitchy, and that first ones issue was that some plugs were not aligned well and always felt like i was going to break the pins trying to connect PWN and ARGB connections on it. So it felt really fragile. The second, in White. Is hot mess. It constantly resets every time i use it. I only have ARGB connected to it. As I have the 10 fans in my main white build computer daisy chained to the numerous fan headers it already has. Did i say it resets its settings, oh how about when you flip thru modes, it will just jump back to the base solid white. there's like 50 color modes these can do, so its really frustrating and then starting just before i wrote this, it finally starting to die. It literally would not take commands from the remote or from the reset button connection. It was frazzled stuck twitching between red and some other color settings. I had to power cycle the desktop so it would reset The third works okay, its another black, for another nas that needed a hub that i started using argb fans of 120 and 140 mm design on. and it gets into the issue that i have with all three THERE IS ZERO WAY TO RESET THE DEVICE TO TELL IT TO USE THE PWM. None of them take the pwm setting from the motherboard. NONE OF THEM. I have the NAS ones just set to the 2nd slowest to keep the drives cool, but I CANNOT GET THEM TO TAKE PWN ACTION PROPERLY OR RESET IT. And why? Its not a button option. Its not a combo option that i can find? UGH. its just super frustrating. There is not a good third party solution for what i want out here. I don't like ASUS armoury crate for custom lighting. OpenRGB still needs work. And I need RGB and PWN so i went with these three times. But now I'm gonna start looking for replacements. They are garbage, low quality, start to die a slow death after less than a year of use. Or they just work really weird out of the box with what you think is great customization, but its borked. Look elsewhere moving forward.

Really good controller hub
I am a big fan of using controller hubs for my PC builds because I’ve always had issues getting every product to work on software so these are huge for me. I recently rebuilt mine and decided to grab this hub because I did use a black one previously however I can tell that these are not all built the same. I do love how easy it is to use and function and how easy it is to install you get all the cables you need necessary even a cable for the LED lights on the hub itself which I did not use I don’t have a noise issue with the fans at all with this hub and all of the cooling is working like it should. It is definitely worth the money. The only issue I have is the fact that there is no splits in between each connection on the hub, which is just minor, but for me, I feel like it would make the plastic more durable

Must have
Thanks to this there’s no one fan wiring in sight . Great value for $20 if you’re a pc building who value aesthetics, you can hide all fan wiring . It comes with a remote to control fan speed (I don’t use this tbh ) and a pwm cord to connect to mobo to read fan speed and pc temp . It has a feature to control fan speed according to temps and control fan lights but I don’t use that . I have an asus b650e so I do have asus armory crate for that but to me the value comes from being able to hide wiring for all my fans (2 side intake , 3 bottom intake , 1 rear exhaust and 3 top exhaust , that’s 9 fans , and if u have a normal air cup cooler you would have 10, and that’s 1 pwm and 1 rgb cord per fan , 20 wires) . I initially bout this for my older pc with i7 8700 using a b360m mobo that doesn’t have 5v connector for rgb and that’s where most people would get the maximum value for this , hiding wires and ultimately rgb power . The control has great lighting styles and auto mode . Very easy to use . It’s also sata powered . Very small and easy to hide , it has magnetic connection or an adhesive .

Does everything!
Really nice ARGB hub! I had to use this, because my motherboard doesn't support the 5v RGB header, and this has been a great alternative! It can be powered by a SATA connector, which is great for me. One thing to note, if using SATA connector, the colors can only be changed with the remote that comes included. This isn't a big deal for me, since I just want plain white, but if you plan to sync them to your motherboard, I don't think you can do that with the SATA connector. The ARGB hub has a magnetic back which is pretty strong, so it can stick to your pc case. The colors on the ARGB hub sync with whatever you inputed, which really helps bring the build together. The only flaw I could think of it that the included the lettering on the front. This makes it really easy to use, but doesn't look as nice. Overall, for $12, this is a great buy, and I highly recommend it!
