This is got be the best product that I have ever used. Granted my dog does not like it at the beginning of each use, but, she gets used to it. The attachments are great are work really well. I have ZERO complaints about this. I love that that there is no hair flying around when you groom your pet. The sound level is very good, and I am very amazed at how quite it can be for the size that it is. Overall its easy to use, move and transport. Since I am mentioning the ease of use, the collection canister is very easy to empty and the filters are very easy to clean. Overall again, it is well worth the money that it is and being the skeptical that I was, I am very AMAZED.

I have two 50# golden doodles I groom myself. One has the wavy/curly coat of her standard poodle mother, the other has the straighter coat of his golden retriever father. The furMe Professional Plus FM-02 makes clipping them so much easier. I previously clipped them with a dog clipper, but the vacuum combined with clippers is genius! The motor has three speeds to increase suction. The first and second speeds are quiet, third speed is a bit noisier, but pulls the hair straighter, making clipping some of the wavier/curlier parts easier. Neither of the dogs minds the noise for any of the settings. My male lies on his back and goes to sleep while I'm trimming him. The canister is clear so I can see when it's full as it fills up fast without any hair flying all over my room. It empties easily in the trash and reattaches quickly and I'm good to go for more clipping. I'm 70 years old and have arthritis in my hands which makes handling anything heavy for any length of time very difficult. The clipper attached to the hose isn't heavy and maneuvers easily. I trim them on the floor and the hose is plenty long enough to get around them. If I had them up on a table, because they're so tall, it would require a longer hose if the unit were on the floor. The vacuum itself isn't heavy either so could be placed on a table or counter. The hose is about 6 ft long. The clipper doesn't get hot as I'm covering a lot of real estate on these dogs! Grooming one dog can cost well over $100 so I'm saving lots of money trimming both of them every 6 -- 8 weeks. I purchased this in May of 2024 so it was still under warranty in March 2025 when the clipper quit working. I was so upset, thinking customer service would be awful, I'd have a big run around, and I'd end up having to return to my old clippers without the vacuum. The vacuum still worked great, but I didn't need the de-shedding or other functions so I was pretty unhappy. Just an aside, I had a yellow lab that blew coat twice a year. I wish I'd had this then! It would have kept me sane as I could have just "vacuumed" the mounds of shed hair!! Back to my issue: I texted customer support and got an email back within the hour!!! When does that ever happen in today's indifferent world of customer service?! After a couple of conversations via email, doing some of the suggested tests on the machine to determine the problem and then being given a commitment to shipping me a new hose, which is all that was needed, solved the problem and I'm back to clipping again. Works incredibly well, only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is because it is kind of a pain to empty as it seems to make the fur extremely staticy unless you wait a bit to empty it, which is fine if you can finish in one go but with a Shiba even the 3L canister takes multiple empties to get the job done during shedding season. Also the undercoat rake brush including with this seems to not be the greatest and seems to irritate my pup a bit as it seems to pull hair more than it should as compared to my regular one I use. But all in all I would still highly recommend this for anyone as it is overall a well made product and surprisingly reasonably quiet even in max speed. Though to be honest I've never used it on the lower speeds since it doesn't seem like enough suction for my fur ball 😆

GREAT tool! I use it on the lowest setting since I'm still in the process of getting my dog used to it but it does a great job. In just a couple minutes I can collect nearly half the canister of fur!!! I do with it was still a little lower in dBa but he's getting more comfortable with it.

I'm thrilled with the FM-02 Pet Grooming Vacuum Kit! I was hesitant attempting to trim my 80 pound Bernedoodle myself, especially because I previously used a trimmer with no vacuum and there was hair everywhere! After paying $200 for a professional groom that I was unhappy with, I decided to give this a try! This unit is very quite and easy to use! The suction is also great, even at the lowest setting. I wanted a longer trim and was happy with the clipper guard assortment. I won't really need the de-shedding brush, because she is a non-shedding breed, but it's a nice accessory. I did need to empty the 2 liter canister several times, but it a very easy process. I'll purchase curved trimming scissors to trim around her face, ears and feet. I also like that my dog doesn't have to endure a 3-4 hour grooming session. With this home unit, I can give her a trim and follow-up bathing her another day. 🐾

Works real good and grooms both of my ragdoll cats. Wife loves it since it saves trips and money for the cat groomer. We take our cats less to the groomer. It’s great during summer when their coat is long. Cats like it now and don’t complain when being groomed after they got used to it. A lot less hair around the house. Highly recommend.

I have some good and disappointing things to report about this FurMe system. It came highly recommended by friends and on their opinion, I ordered this unit. What I LOVE about the FurMe system is that it makes clean up so easy and affordable when compared to what I had been dealing with, mainly hauling out my big vacuum to suck up hair into the disposable vacuum bags. Those bags cost money every time you need to change them out when they've reached maximum capacity. That's not an issue with the FurMe--I ordered the largest container and when it's full--you just dump the fur in the trash and go again. What I am disappointed about are the clippers. I have two miniature poodles who need frequent grooming and these clippers just don't seem strong enough to get through their tangles with any kind of ease. My dogs also aren't crazy about that long "snake" attached to the clippers, but I am hoping their fear will diminish the more I use The FurMe on their curly coats. The unit comes with many attachments so depending upon the kind and size of dog you are grooming the FurMe Professional comes equipped to handle the job. If I could give this product 3.5 stars, I think it would be a fair assessment of my experience using it at this point. I have used the FurMe Professional Plus twice since I received it a week ago. The vacuum's motor is relatively quiet, comes with a long electric cord and is lightweight. The unit is made in China for a Wilmington, Delaware company. Since I am a retired teacher--I give this product an overall C+ grade. It is superior in vacuum power but a little weak in the hair clipping ability for dogs who have a heavier undercoat. Personally, I would never attempt to use this system on my cat, but I suppose it could be done especially by a pet owner who had lots of patience and protective gloves!
